Our sweet Dog of the Month is here with us today, we love Cooper!

🎉 We’d like to present, our May 2024 dog of the month; COOPER! 🎉

🐶 Cooper is a loving goofball who loves running off leash in wide open fields, cuddling members of his human pack and will drop ANYTHING when he hears the cheese drawer open or his daycare food container shake.

🐶 Fun fact about Coop is that he’s a Bernedoodle who looks like a Portuguese water dog but hates the water and will even walk the long way around puddles!

🐶 Team member Kenzie says “Cooper is such a good boy, one of the best! he’s always so well behaved, and he LOVES a good cuddle! I love having him at daycare!”

Hot weather summer tips!

Summer has arrived! 🐾☀️
Spending quality time with our furry friends are some of the highlights of summer - Hiking, swimming, camping - the possibilities are endless! However, here are some tips for keeping your dog safe in hot weather!

🛟 Walk your dog later in the day when the weather is cooler.
🛟 Provide your dog with fresh, clean drinking water
🛟 Ensure your dog has access to cool, shady areas
🛟 Never leave your dog in a parked car
🛟 Avoid walking your dog on hot pavement as it could burn your dogs paws - check the pavement with the back of your hand first
🛟 Keep your dog out of direct sunlight

🛟 Brachycephalic breeds such as pugs and bulldogs (any breed with a flat, squishy nose)
🛟 Senior dogs
🛟 Obese dogs

There are no bad dogs

We often get warned “Fluffy is still a puppy, they’re likely going to be bad for their groom!”

There are no bad puppies. Puppies explore their world with their mouths and during a grooming experience, that’s no different!

We always have extra time and patience ready to go for our youngest clientele, their comfort is our priority.
