This week on Meet the Staff Monday, we’re excited to spotlight the one and only Dr. Vanessa Stewart! 🩺✨
If you've ever met Dr. Stewart, you know she’s equal parts brilliant, hilarious, and endlessly kind. A vital member of our leadership team, she works alongside Dr. Leeanne Bargen, Dr. Gemriff Capao (bio coming soon!), and our incredible practice manager, Annique.
Known for her bold glasses and signature style—accessorized by her fashion-savvy toddler—Dr. Stewart brings an infectious energy to every shift. With roots in Winnipeg and a strong background in emergency medicine, she’s especially passionate about internal medicine and feline care. Dubbed our in-house “cat doctor,” she has a rare gift for diagnosing the most puzzling feline cases with insight and humility.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Stewart enjoys crocheting, gaming, and reading. She shares most of her time with her toddler, Arlo, and their vibrant crew of cats:

Dr. Stewart is more than a skilled veterinarian—she’s a joy to work with, a cat whisperer, and a true light in our clinic. We’re endlessly grateful to have her on the team!
