Kitty Kitty is a 7 year old big boy looking for a home to call his own.

He came to us after his owner became ill :( and no longer able to care for him 😔

A quiet home without children under the age of 12 would be best suited for Kitty Kitty and he loves kittens 😸

He has been through alot taking time to adjust and still takes time to trust his human but is stuck to his foster mom ❤️

We are unable to assist with owner surrenders as rescues take priority and unfortunately we do not have anywhere for adult cats as we are not a shelter and just don't have fosters for adult cats.

All rescues are overloaded with lengthy wait lists and none of us would be in this situation if everyone spayed and neutered their cats!

Do you remember Kitty Kitty 🐈 who had been hiding in the basement when his owner was in hospital for a couple months?

He was so scared so he had to be live trapped :( then he went to the vet and was tested and neutered ❤️

He pretty much shut down due to the trauma of being alone without his owner and lack of companionship :( while in foster care he stopped eating for a few days and had to spend some time at the vet but certainly improved once he received some fluids and returned to foster care. This is when he began to finally look brighter ✨️ 💖

It took approximately 3 weeks or so in foster care for him to begin to gain trust again ❤️ time, patience and love brought this boy around 🐈‍⬛

Now he has ventured out of his foster room into the main part of his foster home and enjoying humans much more ❤️ he also gets along with the resident cats!

Soon Kitty Kitty will be ready for his furever home 🏡 ❤️ 💕 🐈 😻

We would like to give a BIG thank you to all the customer's and Pet Valu for the very generous food donations over the last few months. In fact it was so very generous that we found our cupboards over flowing and after talking to Jeff at Pet Valu he agreed we should share some with the food bank and and a local rescue feeding a colony to help as many kitties as we could. From The Kitten Suites and all the kitties In Pictou County, we thank the customers and Pet Valu from the bottom of our 💕 💞 ♥️

ABOUT THE KITTEN SUITES

The Kitten Suites are a foster based kitten rescue in Pictou County, NS for abandoned kittens, barn kittens, feral kittens and owner surrenders. Our focus is on the most vulnerable kittens 3 months old and younger however not limited to depending on each individual situation as well as available funds.

Once taken into care the kittens are tested for disease, treated for parasites, receive vaccinations, socialized, spayed/neutered at 6 months of age and adopted into approved loving forever homes after 8 weeks of age. Kittens who are adopted before they are 6 months old have their spay or neuter included in their adoption fee.

We are a non profit organization with a small group of compassionate volunteers and our mission is saving the lives of kittens, preventing/treating disease and controlling the overpopulation of cats in our community by ensuring spay and neuter.
