Hard to capture the beauty of this unique blue goose but this position does just that. The client came to me with a great reference photo of what he wanted. Something to showcase the unique pure white belly and still have the classic silhouette wings feathers showing. Super fun project and an unreal quality specimen. Always key to remember a good specimen makes a great mount

Challenging mallard as it was shot up pretty good but that didn’t stop it from becoming a great flying mount. Love this pose, great choice from the client

Another great shoot at the Millet Fish and Game Association today. Had a blast shooting with and friends. Even got to split one a Derek’s arrows today. Only thing missing was my jersey

With the summer coming and going already very quickly, I am getting excited for the days we got for the upcoming season. And how exciting it is to pursuit the elusive and share the success with family and friends. Last year was my best season to date. I got to do some solo but more importantly for me is I had people there to share the moments. I can’t wait to hear all the stories that will come through the door in the shop. My favourite part of meeting a new client is hearing how they got the animal I’ll be working on. And knowing how important hunting and the memory is to me, I’ll be putting the extra work in to make it special

Good times were had this weekend. Between meeting new people and seeing friends it was a fantastic time at the Sherwood park archery shoot. Got to do another gift card giveaway doing the steel coyote target and a young hunter really earned it. I was able to do a couple fun rounds and they really put a nice course together. I think I got a personal goose mount coming in the future. Was able to get a 12 year old female Ross’s goose, a beautiful blue goose and a tank of a mature snowy

Very excited to show off the finished product. This mallard/ wood duck hybrid is something truly unreal for being taken in Alberta, as we do not see many wood ducks. Super cool colours on this one. And he was done on to a table top marsh habitat base. Definitely a piece to see in person and I will be taking this guy to Edmonton👀

Been hard to not to post about this monarch, but I finally can. Congrats to Luke Squires of on taking this amazing representation of an Alberta beauty. He had the opportunity to share his story with this buck in the newest 2024 winter edition of . It’s been a privilege to work with Luke on this mount and also have my name/ company mentioned in the article. Can’t believe I’ve had the chance to work on a deer that will be seen by many. I’m super excited to be able to show this deer off at the . Can’t thank Luke enough!
