Paw-dawan Obedience Program
- Initial consultation to assess existing behaviour and if necessary tailor the program to meet their needs. (30-90 minutes depending on the situation)
- 8 weeks of in home training that will consist of the following: verbal, hand, and some leash signals for sit, down, stay + release, heel, go to bed + release, a recall command. All commands will be taught on leash, off leash, and lastly on leash in a public area with distractions. We will also work on dog, stranger, and child socialization. Any pre-existing behavioural issues will be worked into the program and will be discussed with you in advance.
*All sessions are 60-90 minutes depending on progress and individual dog*
- 9th class can either be held the week after week 8 and used to teach tricks like shake, bang, find, spin, etc. Some dogs progress quickly and are able to start tricks in week 7 or 8, if they don't then we can do it class 9. Alternatively, the 9th, and final session can be held 1 or 2 months after the sessions end in order to check progress or review if needed.
- A training slip leash will be included for your own use at home! Color options will be given during the booking process.
* all treats used are dehydrated liver treats. If your dog has any allergies I will try to accommodate with natural options, but it would be best to have some of their treats on hand if it is a serious allergy. *
Basic program starts at 750$** for everything listed above.
Basic program is ideal for dogs of all ages who need a restructure, or complete work from the ground up.
Please contact me to discuss working with a dog that might be deemed "aggressive". I am comfortable working with all levels of aggression. Every dog deserves a chance, and I have a massive soft spot in my heart for these cases.
Deposit options:
1 - To book consultation and first training session right away: 250$
2 - Book consultation only before deciding to proceed: 75$***
** prices subject to change on individual basis for special cases. Full payment is not required to start training. I have a preferred payment plan, and if necessary we can discuss other plan options.
*** Consultation fee is waived and becomes absorbed into the initial 750 if program is booked within 30 days of consultation. After 30 days the fee is no longer applicable to the deposit, and the full 250 will be required. Dogs evaluated for aggression or specific behavioural issues will have to undergo another consultation/assessment if training is not booked within 30 days. The second consultation will be charged at 75$.
