IslandGems Toy Fox Terriers became a registered CKC kennel April 2011. Our first TFT came to us fro Our first TFT came to us in 2009 from Seattle Washington.

We were first introduced to the TFT breed by Amanda and Wendy Kelly in 2008, they had one special girl who stood out among the rest. We've done conformation, obedience, rally, trick dog, tracking, and agility. We believe in health testing, education and training.

After a full day of outings for both puppies, the boardwalk in Summerside in the morning, and Cavendish boardwalk in the evening, Baby is enjoying a nap in my arms in the warm setting sun.

CKC registered our two puppies, and we settled on their permanent call names. Fitz is "Peanut" and Simmons is "Baby".

Both I'm planning to enter in October here in PEI for their first shows. I'm hoping to enter them against thier mother in the future.

Fitz and Simmons are tuckered out after their 8 week old vet check appointment. Both are wonderfully healthy. Fitz is 1.8lbs and Simmons is 2.3lbs. They are both our lovely show prospects. We hope to enter both at our 2 PEI show weekends this October.

Fitz and Simmons got new toys. The rest of the pack is very jealous.

Fitz and Simmons first stacked photos. Still need to slim out a bit to see their true form. They were somewhat cooperative with peanutbutter. 6 weeks old.

Grammie is not fond of sharing her toys but Simmons has managed to squirm her way onto the other side of the toy. So adorable.

Today I added the xpen roof, Simmons is now climbing the pen. Than as I was starting to clip nails on Fitz, Simmons uses a pillow to boost herself and up on the couch she goes. Not quite 6 weeks old.

Over the weekend Simmons made it over the barrier and out to the hall, today Fitz made it over. Barrier hight increased another 6".

Dottie is teaching the puppies to play chase just like their mother Lyric played with her. Dottie playing with Java.

Beanie 11 weeks.

All the puppies have a wee bit of collar training before they go to thier new homes. All did not seem bothered much, except Beanie. She needed to sit and let it sink in that she now had her first accessory.
