Tomorrow is the last day to register for this specialty show! It's the biggest bull terrier specialty in western Canada and we're so happy to have breeder judge Ann Radford this year!!

We will have Mouse, Crystal, Honey, and Rigby there and we're hoping for a bunch of great mini and standard bullies!

Our instructors got some great pictures of Honey Badger at our nose work field trip class last night!

She found our first container search really challenging, so when we moved to the exterior search we all thought she'd struggle with it. But she did great, even with some tricky hides and gusty winds.

Last weekend we popped over to the Island for a couple days for the Tyee Kennel Club show with Mouse and Rigby.

On Saturday Mouse got Best of Breed from Argentinian judge Patricia Nemirovsky-Alsina!

On Sunday we showed under Venezuelan judge and Bull Terrier breeder Fernando Navia! Rigby got Best of Opposite s*x and Mouse got Select!

This was only Rigby's second real show and we're so proud of him! Big thanks to Natalie Garrett for her excellent handling of him, and to his family for letting us show him! And if course huge thanks to the judges for recognizing our dogs' virtues in a field of excellent Bull Terriers!

The Western Canada Miniature and Bull Terrier Club is hosting a Specialty day at the Skaha Kennel Club dog shows in Summerland BC Canada.

Breeder judge Ann Radford (pending CKC approval) from Ontario Canada will be evaluating our dogs.

We had a fabulous weekend at the Renaissance Dog Association show and Specialties. There were 4 shows and 2 terrier specialties with 120 terriers at the highest.

Honey Badger showed for the first time as an adult and got WB and her first point on Thursday.

Friday at the BC All Terriers specialty Crystal got Best of Winners and Best of Opposite s*x to finish her Championship with a bang!

In the Regular class on Friday Rigby got Best of Breed and BOW for his first points!

Saturday and Sunday Mouse showed her heart out and got BOS. We achieved our goal of making it fun to work hard.

Big thank you to all of the judges and the many friends who helped steer the Snarfington crew in the ring!

Mousey and I are working on a new trick! Eventually I would like her to weave around my legs while I walk.

Why? 1. I want Mouse to have really high value for center position, because it's a good safe place for her in case we ever run into off leash dogs, bears, or anything else. 2. Mouse lives for training and I need to come up with things for us to do inside in the evening, so we're working on tricks!

Honey Badger is a very independent little dog. She was the revolutionary leader of her litter and really does things on her own terms.

This really works in our favour when we're conditioning her to keep searching for scent. So cool!

Honey Badger is a problem solver. She comes by it honestly, and we put effort into raising puppies that can solve problems and work with people.

Honey's big trick this week was learning to bust out of her kennel and the baby gate in the kitchen. Here she is learning that birch oil scent is rewarding. A much better use of her big brain from my perspective.

Crystal dog got 4th in the Terrier group at the Mt. Cheam Canine Association dog show today!! So very proud of her for giving her best in a competitive group!

Big thanks to the judge David Swartwood for recognizing her virtues and to Lori Jacobson and Caitlin Vance for the moral support and reminding me to take a picture!!

I have had two families back out at the last minute so have two lovely puppies available to 5-star homes! Both are Males and potential show quality.

Now before you overwhelm this thread with questions........I am shutting off commenting. Send questions to my PM

YOU MUST complete the questionnaire pinned to the top of this group and have an interview before being considered.

We are on the WEST COAST OF CANADA so don't apply if you cannot figure out how to get the puppy to where you are (I don't mind transporting with reputable transport agencies but you have to do the leg work and the cost is yours).

There will be an interview to determine if either pup matches your family so just submitting the questionnaire doesn't mean you get a puppy.....

We're all getting a little stir crazy with the cold dark winter weather. So Honey Badger and Nola Semczyszyn are starting Nose work classes next week! Looking forward to a productive use of that snarf. We will keep you posted.
