Girl #2 - This is our baby girl Whiney. We called her that at first cause she was really vocal but now shes one of the quietest in the bunch!

Girl # 1 - This is one of our baby girls whom I've named Picasso cause of her abstract markings. She is an excellent eater and very quiet. Well over 1.5 lbs today at just 1 week old!

Day 2, Boy 1 and Girl 2 were a little on the low end for feeding, regardless they still gained about 20 grams each. Therefore, I made sure they got more time nursing on mom. Day 3 shows a considerable difference!
Day 2: Weight Chart
Boy 1: 440 g - Up 6%
Boy 2: 426 g - Up 12%
Boy 3: 427 g - Up 12%
Girl 1: 393 g - Up 15%!
Girl 2: 395 g - Up 8%
Girl 3: 415 g - Up 10%

Today all pups weigh roughly a little more than a pound (about the same as a container of strawberries). Their weight gain is on track with boys gaining more naturally than girls. We're golden as long as daily weight gain is between 10 and 15%! 🐶

Boy 2: 494 g - Up 16%!
Boy 3: 488 g - Up 14%!
Girl 1: 434 g - Up 10%
Girl 2: 436 g - Up 10%

Our mom, Blue, is an 18-month-old purebred champion bloodline Blue Heeler – a stellar mother with no aggression and exceptional attentiveness. The proud dad is a 15-month-old purebred Australian Shepherd. Both are hardworking farm dogs and together they've welcomed their first litter of 6 healthy puppies without complications.
