We are often asked why we have the word “Sanctuary” in our name. While we see the value in TNR (trap, neuter, release), it’s not something that we are accustomed to. We want to give every cat and kitten a chance at a normal life, in a loving home!! If this means that they live with us forever, then so be it!!
Our first post for this album is a special one. This is Maeve 😻
Maeve came to us on August 1, 2024 with her 3 kittens. She was very angry and lashed out at any chance she could get. She would hiss and swat at you with her nails out!!
We thought she was truly feral and never imagined that she could one day be adoptable.
Slowly she started to come around. She would take lickables from us, and then eat her food while we were in the room.
One day while doing litter, we felt someone rubbing against our legs. It was Maeve!!! She can pet you, but you can’t pet her 😹 We will keep trying though!
She now roams freely in her foster home and has many foster friends.
One day you may see her picture in the “adoptables” album!

Exciting news!!!

Pixel wants everyone to know that today is her day 80 of FIP treatment which means...bloodwork! If this bloodwork is normal then she will go into observation in 4 more days!!!😁

Super Bowl Sunday will be her day 84!! Meaning she will be halfway done treatment and will be down to 1 pill per day for another 84 days.

She is strong 💪, she is beautiful 😍 and she is worth it!💖

Presley is the sweetest baby boy who will follow you around until you pick him up. Once you do he wants to be up on your shoulder, purring and nuzzling in 🥹
He spends his days running around his foster house wrestling with his siblings, climbing cat towers, and snuggling with his people. He is such a little lover!!!!
