HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ALL OF US AT AXEL’S IMPRINT RESCUE!! 💜🥳

As we step into a new year, we’re holding both gratitude and grief 😿
Last year brought deep loss: Victor, Rainbow, Mira, Zion, and precious neonatals 😞
We had our first amputation (Vader)
And far more illness than we could have imagined.
It tested our hearts and our resilience 💔
Still, we kept going. For every hard moment, there was love, care, and the quiet determination to show up again tomorrow 🫶
Our hope for 2026 is simple and strong: healthy cats, healing days, and LOTS of happy adoptions. Thank you for standing with us through it all!!

Poor sweet, shy Muriel🥺

She has been having a rough couple months of dental appts. She had a mouth infection that came back after medication so a dental was booked. Most of her teeth were removed due to periodontal disease and we hoped she would get better...but she hasn't.

Muriel paws at her mouth and says owww! Its both cute and heart breaking to hear. At her recheck, our loving vet was able to see her mouth wasn't healing and the infection had returned. She was booked in for another dental and dental x-rays to see what was going on.

During her 2nd dental they saw her bones were not healing from the dental and neither were the pockets of gums were her teeth once were. They cleaned away the infection and put her on a different antibiotic plus 2 pain meds again.

Muriel is a shy, sweet girl who hasn't shown her true personality likely because of all this discomfort and pain.
We are hoping that she is now on the road to recovery with this new treatment plan.🙏

Its never a dull moment over here with mysterious medical cases but we are hoping 2026 is good to our kitties, bringing them good health and new forever homes.🤞

VORTEX is a sweet black kitten with classic kitten energy 😻
He enjoys playtime, gets along well with other cats, and is happiest when he has a feline companion around. He’s an easygoing little guy who will settle in nicely with the right family.
Vortex needs to go to a home with another cat or kitten already living there, or he can be adopted with his brother, Vero!!

VERO is a sweet little tuxedo boy with a playful streak and a heart of gold!!
He loves tearing around with his posse, especially his brother, Vortex and fits right in with all the older kittens too.
Social, confident, and full of kitten energy, Vero thrives with feline companionship and will definitely need a cat friend in his new home to wrestle, chase, and cuddle with.
If you’re looking for a fun loving kitten who also knows how to be sweet, Vero’s your guy 😻🖤🤍
