The coarse hairs harvested from the outer-coat are typically found in industrial fabrics while the soft undercoat hairs can be used to create all manner of things including sweaters and scarves!

Angora vs mohair. It can definitely be difficult to remember which fibre comes from which animal. Angora yarn comes from the Angora rabbit, whereas mohair comes from the Angora goat (hence the confusion).
