Supper time in The Doghouse! This is my first time having 3 dogs from 3 different families at the same time. I don’t have much going on at all this weekend (for once) so I figured it was a good time to give it a shot! So far, so good!
They each had a yummy bully stick for dessert!

I’ve been quiet but I’m still here and I’m still excited to love on your doggos whenever I can! In the last 2-3 weeks, some OG Dogs were back in The Doghouse. Alfie & Cooper had a nice stay yet again and Rex & Moka are here now while their parents get some away time in Mexico. Mixed in there was a newbie to The Doghouse, JJ. Let’s talk about this sweet boy…such a good boy already at only 9 months. He comes back in a few weeks and I can’t wait!

Penny-Loo-Hoo is a frequent flyer in The Doghouse and she was here again this weekend. Poor Penny just wants to play but this 11 year old sleeps like he’s a 16 year old and morning’s are not his jam. Doesn’t she look so patient?! P—Dawg….Aunty Burger luvs ya!

Miss Macey is one of the very first dogs ever in The Doghouse and she’s back again! 😊 She didn’t stay very long the last time so I’m really getting to see her personality this time and it is awesome.

What a day in The Doghouse! Whew! Let me preface this rant of sorts with: I absolutely love this side gig of loving on dogs and I don’t regret it one bit! At the same time though, man, does it ever get chaotic sometimes! Both boys woke up unwell this morning. Myles with a headache and Sawyer with a fever and every other symptom known to man kind. That mixed with 3 hyper dogs, getting Myles out to meet his ride to Kap for hockey (without under armour!), cleaning up puke a few times that never made it to the toilet not one time, and a 💩 or two…made for a bit of a crazy morning to say the least. Luckily, everyone has been napping this afternoon which means Aunty Burger had a nap too! Ha!
Pure chaos? ✅ Got through it ✅ 🏆

These 2 have been in The Doghouse since last Thursday while their Mommy and Daddy are in Cuba getting married! Eljay and Penelope are two peas in a pod and have made me laugh every day.

It’s not camp but it’s a beautiful day. Snuck this girl to the dog park for some play time with bigger doggos. We will have some backyard time with all 3 floofs when we get home.

This adorable pup is Dixie. She is 10 months old and just the cutest!! She stayed with us last weekend and we absolutely loved having her in The Doghouse.

Would you look at that! Sweet boy Blaze is back in The Doghouse and he’s getting right to business by helping to get my littlest meatball to bed. It is going to be a fun long weekend especially with a second addition arriving tomorrow. Check back tomorrow to see who else is in The Doghouse!

I feel like Dollarama right now because summer isn't even done but I'm about to post about winter vacations! Look. Don't judge me. People are in full planning mode for winter trips and I already have some bookings so I thought I'd put it out there as food for thought in case you will need someone to love on your doggo while you're off drinking margaritas and napping by a pool. 😄😄
Don't be like Bikini Barb here and miss your chance on a hot trip just because there was nowhere for your floof to go!

This is Miss Maggie! She had a wonderful first sleep and day in The Doghouse. She is adorable, loves to give kisses, and random earlobe nibbles! hehe I am excited to be spending time with her.

Okay, okay. Ill be honest. It has not been total smooth sailing in The Doghouse. This adorable floof apparently does not want the blinds closed when she’s inside her camper. Who knew? 💫 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thankfully, her parents are very understanding.

I’m sure Lucky would have loved a last trail walk together but I’ll be honest and say that I was happy that the weather this morning was crappy because that meant extra snugs and some last cuddles before she left The Doghouse. I just want to spread some local business love!

Supreme Maintenance Services has been cutting my grass this summer (a little gift from Ma Burgs 😘) and they are so awesome. They do a great job on my lawn but I also had them cut down some troublesome branches/trees. They don’t do full removal but they cut them down super well and they went above and beyond to get this done for me. If you’re needing lawn care services or anything of the like….hit them up. They are so great!
