***Zahra has found her people and has a fantastic home****

I have made the very hard decision to see if I can find Zahra her perfect home. This has been a very difficult decision for me to make as I am very attached to her, but I feel she deserves a home where she is given undivided attention. She is from our litter born April 24th 2023, she was our keeper puppy from the breeding between Temperance and Ramsay. I kept her as a show prospect with the potential for breeding, she didn't love being in the ring and I saw no reason to force her to do something she didn't love. She had Pyometra in October of 2023 was given antibiotics to clear out the infection and was spayed in December of 2023 otherwise she has been extremely healthy.
I am looking to place her in a home with who has dane experience as it can take her some time to warm up to new people. She does well with other dogs and cats likes older children but isn't overly find of the busyness of little kids.
I am in no hurry to place her and if the perfect home doesn't come up then she will stay with us.

❤️❤️❤️Abigail (Red Collar) is the last puppy we have available from our litter of 13 puppies born October 3rd. She is 16 weeks old. She comes from fully health tested parents, who are both Canadian Grand Champions.
Abi is one of the sweetest puppies I have ever had...she absolutely loves everyone and always wants to please. She is so polite and would do extremely well in a family with kids. I am open to a pet, show or performance home for her ❤️❤️❤️

I would love for her to go to a home that will show her ( or allow me to if close enough) as she is a stunning lady and I feel she would do well in conformation.

Ramsay and I had a fantastic weekend at NACA
He was Select Dog
Saturday under Judge: Jocelyne Gagne
This earned him his Grand Championship
Monday under Judge: Jean-Jacques Dupas

Most of the credit goes to Lori-Ann for piloting my beast of a boy to majority of his wins!
I was very thankful I got to be on the end of his lead to finish his grand!
He was way goofier for me...jumping like a Kangaroo on his down and back today...but this is why I love this dog so much!
There are no words to describe what this boy means to me...I will forever be thankful to Cathy for entrusting us with this special guy ❤️

Breeding, having dogs

Definitely a roller coaster of a lifestyle...filled with the highest of highs and lowest of lows...

Breeding dogs is a lifetime of losses.
We lose newborn puppies...
We lose show prospects that don't turn out..
We lose dogs that fail health testing...
We lose dog shows...
We lose sleep way too often...
We lose young mothers...
And after all those losses, we lose our beloved old dogs.

Yet we all are here for the little gains that seem to keep us going.
A puppy that takes it's first breath..
A nuzzle by our best old pal..
A ribbon at a dog show...
A light in a family's eyes when they hold their puppy for the first time...
A wag of a tail...
A new generation that turns out better than the one before...
All for the love of a dog and the breed as a whole, our hearts are resilient.💗

All for a bigger cause ❤️

We had a fantastic year at Quadco Acres Great Danes.
We welcomed our Precious Gemstones litter in April, all have found amazing homes and are doing fantastic.
They all live within close proximity to each other (with the exception of Zahra who stayed with us) and they get to see each other and have play dates sometimes.
As a breeder I could not have asked for better homes for these puppies..they are all lucky to have the families they have.
Temperance earned 45 points in her limited showing this year and is 2 points from her Bronze. This lady and I have so much fun together in the ring! I am so lucky that this girl is mine.
Zahra got to play in the ring a couple times as well as a baby puppy! I look forward to showing her in the new year!!
Ramsay is amazing as always he loves spending time playing with Zahra and Temperance. He is such an amazing ambassador for the great dane breed...he has never met a stranger and adores all critters!!
We are also planning another breeding in 2023 and I am super excited to see what the future holds for all of us!!!
We want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year 🥂🎉🥂🎉
I hope 2023 brings everyone wonderful things!!!

I can't believe Miss Amethyst is still available!!
She will be 4 months old August 24th.
She is the sweetest most loving puppy ever!!
She adores all people especially kids, she hasn't met a cat that she doesn't love...and enjoys the company of other dogs as well. She is super smart and always wants to please her people, she would do well in a home that wanted to do obedience or rally. This little lady would also be perfectly happy as a family companion. She is fully vaccinated for her distemper/parvo, has been dewormed, is microchipped and CKC registered!
She even earned her Novice Trick Dog title already! I cannot say enough about this puppies amazing disposition and personality.
She has a 2 year health quarantee against genetic issues.
Spay contract and if for any reason her family can't keep her she comes back to me.
