Today WeThePet is celebrating International Dog Day - August 26th.

Our furry best friends deserve to be cheered for they play many roles in our lives! They are the best companions! They keep us healthy and safe, and they help those in need.

Our furry friends have been with us for at least 14,000 years, and just in 2004 that International Dog Day was first established.

The aim of promoting this day is to raise awareness about adopting these animals who are currently in rescue centres. If you're seeking a new companion, be sure to consider all breeds.

Look beyond! Look into the heart of the animal, and you'll find a cheerful new member of the family. You'll find that they always bring joy, loyalty, and devotion!

Embrace International Dog Day 2021 as an opportunity for all dogs to live a safe, happy and abuse-free life.
