Just like his sister Sierra, this 7-month-old bully mix was found dumped on a country road in Southern Ontario with his 5 siblings. Luckily, the local pound scooped them up before they could start hitchhiking their way across the province. 😉

Now safe with Backstreet Paws, Chevy has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and he’s officially ready for adoption! 🏡❤️

Chevy is playful, goofy, and always ready to roll. He’s looking for a forever family (preferably with older kids, since he’s still learning his size) who can give him the love and stability he deserves.

Sierra is ready to upgrade her life! 🐾🎉

At just 7 months old, this bully mix beauty has already had quite the adventure. She and her 5 siblings were dumped and spotted running the backroads of Southern Ontario like they owned the place, puppy gang style. 🚦🐶 Luckily, the local pound picked them up before they could start charging tolls. 😉

Backstreet Paws was called in to help, and now Sierra is safe, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and officially ready to trade the “country road crew” life for the “couch potato with snacks” life. 🛋️🍕

Sierra is sweet, playful, and would love a family of her own, preferably with older kids (she doesn’t always realize her size when she’s in zoomie mode 🏎️💨).

📣 Huge thanks to everyone who shared Polar’s post❣️

This ridiculously handsome heartthrob was sprung from the pound yesterday, took a pit stop at the vet (where, of course, he had the entire staff swooning), got his vaccines, exam, and microchip… and then strutted off to his foster home like he owned the place.

Stay tuned for his adoption post once we learn a bit more about this charming, drop-dead gorgeous dude though honestly, with a face like his, he may not be on the market for long! 😉

Meet Shakita — a tiny senior whose world has been turned upside down.

For 8 years, Shakita knew nothing but love. She was her owner’s shadow, adored and cherished every single day. But when her person could no longer care for herself and had to move in with family, everything changed. Shakita suddenly found herself surrounded by bigger dogs who picked on her, leaving her frightened and unsafe. With a broken heart, her beloved owner had no choice but to surrender her—not because she wanted to, but because she wanted Shakita to be safe.

Now, this little 8-pound girl is grieving and confused. She doesn’t understand why the only life she ever knew has vanished. She misses her person, her routine, her sense of security. What she needs more than anything right now is a quiet, loving home to remind her that she still matters—that she’s still worthy of love.

Shakita is gentle and sweet, but understandably shy. She does well with calm dogs, ignores cats, and would be fine with older, respectful children (10+) who understand that she needs patience and tenderness. She isn’t asking for much—just a warm lap, a soft bed, and someone who will promise her that she’ll never be left behind again.

This little senior has already lost everything once. Please, help us show her that her story isn’t over—that her best chapter is still ahead.

She’s a squeaky toy enthusiast, has mastered the stairs, and is excellent in her crate — not a p*ep out of her at night.

Dottie is wonderful with kids and dogs, and would do best with a dog-savvy cat since she sometimes likes to chase.

Meet Polar a 6-month-old Husky/Golden mix maybe just a guess by shelter with the sweetest personality❣️

One of our volunteers met him and confirmed he’s an absolute gem and great with other dogs.

Right now, Polar is stuck in the pound in Ontario. We can only get him out if we have a foster home ready to welcome him.
