Foxy is a charming 1-year, 10-month-old Aussie Shepherd and Heeler mix with a personality as unique as her stunning eyes—one of which is half green and half blue! This lovely girl is great with dogs and kids, and while she isn't cat tested, she would likely be fine with a dog savvy cat.. Foxy is fully housetrained and crate trained, making her the perfect addition to a loving home with a decent-sized yard.
When Foxy first arrived at her foster home, she was very scared and shy.

While we don't know what her past consisted of before being picked up from the shelter, it is likely she was abused and neglected.

With love and patience, began to trust her foster family, her delightful personality started to shine through. Foxy loves playing with other dogs and running around the backyard. One of her most endearing traits is how she howls when she’s happy and does a little dance—it's sure to bring a smile to your face! Another quirky habit that will surely amuse you is her tendency to take all the shoes from the front door and place them on the couch—she doesn't chew them, she just enjoys being surrounded by her shoe kingdom!

Foxy has a playful side and loves all kinds of toys. She’s content to curl up on the couch with some company, soaking in the love and warmth of her family. While she does have moments when she gets scared, she finds comfort in her crate, which serves as her safe haven.

Unfortunately, Foxy is terrified of being on a leash and is currently working on overcoming this fear. She will need a patient family willing to give her time and love as she continues to build confidence. Due to her challenges with leash training, Foxy’s ideal home would have a decent-sized backyard so she can get her exercise leash free, and would greatly benefit from another dog to help her feel secure and open up even more.

Foxy's journey from a scared, shy pup to a loving, sweet dog is a testament to her resilience and the power of love and patience. Colby thrives in the company of other dogs and even gets along with cats. He's currently being fostered in the country with six other dogs and is having a blast. When he's not playing, Colby loves to cuddle. He's a big softy who craves affection and bonds quickly with his people, becoming a loyal friend.

While Colby has many wonderful qualities, he does need some work on his leash skills. He pulls for the first few minutes of a walk, so he'll need someone patient and willing to help him learn better manners. Colby's previous lack of structure means he has no boundaries and will benefit from consistent training. He's a big goofball who just wants to play, and his new adopter should be ready to invest time in helping him learn the ropes.

Colby can be a bit wary of new people and may bark initially, but he quickly warms up and reveals his sweet nature. He is crate trained, although he might cry or howl for the first ten minutes before settling down. Colby sleeps soundly through the night on the floor of his foster's bedroom.

Due to his size and lack of boundaries, Colby needs a home with a backyard. Apartments won't be suitable for him. He'd do best in a household with children aged 14 and older to avoid accidental knockovers during playtime.

We received a call from our rescue partner in Texas asking if there was anyway at all we could help and take Heaven an abused rescue dog into our care.

Unfortunately, we are drowning in Vet debt with many recent senior dentals with one very special boy who was rescued from an Ontario puppy mill where he lived in a dark cold dirty barn for 7 years used as a stud with a mouth full of rotten teeth, and then there are the spay and neuters as well as an amputation for a recent little pooch named Kaylee and now this sweet girl Heaven who will need to be fitted for a special wheelchair.

We are reaching out to you all for financial assistance, it’s not too often we ask the public for donations and if we ever needed HELP now is the time.🙏

Meet Heaven❤️

What we know about Heaven is this beautiful, kind, loving pooch was brutally attacked by a very sick individual who decided to cut off her back legs somewhere in Mexico. A truck driver had pulled into a landfill dump and that’s where he discovered Heaven, laying in a pile of garbage. Not only was she brutally attacked she was then thrown out like trash to suffer a slow painful death. The truck driver didn’t hesitate to scooped her up and took her to the nearest emergency animal hospital. We have no idea how long she was left suffering at the dump but we do know for sure it was an extended period of time as her back stumps were rotting. Once out of Vet Care she was transferred to a shelter in Texas who then reached out to our rescue partner for help who then called us.

Heaven arrived into our care this past weekend and her foster mom says she is the sweetest most gentle, loving foster she has ever had.

We are hoping to raise $7,000 to help cover some of our Vet debt and to purchase a custom fitted wheelchair for Heaven. Rescue work is not only financially and physically draining but also mentally challenging and we cannot do this without your help. We are begging so we can continue rescuing dogs in need. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated.

Meet Luna the gentle, loving, kind dog who loves to meet new people, play with her 4 legged friends, and cuddle up with her people.

Luna is learning to walk on the leash and naturally does quite well. She will hop in the car with ease and calmly enjoy the car ride, she enjoys it even more if she can rest her head on your shoulder from the back seat.

Luna is learning that life in a family home is pretty great and she does amazing being left alone as she is calm and non destructive, and she will chose to lay in her crate for a rest if she wants a good nap.

Her fosters favourite quirk is her happy grumble as she greets you with a wagging tail at the door, being part husky luna knows how to use her voice, but she is not one to use it when not necessary. She just enjoys talking to those who enter as a happy greeting and as an ask for a hug and some pets!

Meet Mighty Moose - our gentle giant rescue dog! Moose was found as a stray in Ontario and never claimed, and unfortunately, his time was up at the shelter due to overcrowding. We couldn't resist helping this amazing dog!

The Great Pyrenees breed is known for being large, powerful, and protective of their flock - but Moose is a mellow companion and guardian of his family. He's calm and gentle both indoors and outdoors and will keep your property safe from predators and let you know when someone is approaching. When he's not working, he loves to relax and lounge around.

Currently, Moose is being fostered in the country with five other dogs, including a little shih tzu, and gets along with all of them. His foster family no longer worries about coyotes approaching their campsite at night, as Moose sits on guard and lets out a few barks to let them know he's watching over them.
