🌸 After a 450 km round trip, these two sweet girls have arrived 💛

Rescued from a puppy mill, they’ve spent their entire lives inside a barn never knowing freedom, love, or even the feeling of grass under their paws. When they arrived yesterday, they were unsure and timid, one more fearful than the other.

But once we got home and let them out into the backyard …..everything changed. 🐾

Their tails began to wag, their eyes softened, and the smallest smiles started to appear. For the first time in their lives, they were free to run, explore, and just be dogs❣️

These beautiful girls will be available for adoption in the coming weeks. We can’t wait to see them blossom even more.

🚨 FOSTERS & DONATIONS NEEDED 🚨

Backstreet Paws has been asked to take in two 6 year old female Cocker Spaniels who have spent their entire lives being used for breeding. They’ve known nothing but a barn, having babies, and surviving without love or comfort.

💔 These girls have never known a warm bed, a gentle touch, or what it feels like to be someone’s beloved pet.

💔 They deserve a chance to finally be dogs to feel the grass under their paws, a loving hand on their head, and a safe place to rest.

🥵 We want to get them out before the heatwave hits but we can’t do it without your help.

🙏 We’re urgently looking for foster homes to welcome them into safety.

🙏 Their vetting costs will run into the thousands, as it has with similar cases in the past, they need everything from spays to dental work and more.

Logan's journey hasn't been easy. After losing his beloved owner, this local boy came to us scared, unsure, and with very little training or socialization. Since then, he's made incredible progress but he's looking for a special someone to help him continue his journey.

🦴 About Logan:

Logan is currently in a foster home with multiple dogs. With proper introductions, he has successfully made friends with them all except for the high-energy German Shepherd in the home, which may just be a personality mismatch.

To set Logan up for success, he completed a 5 week Board & Train program with a professional trainer. His adopter will also receive a 1 hour training session with the same trainer to help ease the transition and better understand Logan's needs.

💛 What Logan Needs:

Logan is seeking an experienced, confident handler who can provide structure, patience, and continued training. He has shown fear based reactivity in the past, so a calm and knowledgeable approach is essential and must have experience with bully breeds.

🍗 Health Notes:

True to his breed, Logan does have food allergies and is currently on a limited-ingredient diet. His adopter will need to be mindful of what he eats to keep him feeling his best.

🐕‍🦺 What Logan Gives:

Once trust is built, Logan is a total sweetheart. He forms strong bonds with his people, loves to cuddle, enjoys leisurely walks, and is just as happy relaxing by your side.
