From Surviving to Thriving❣️

This is Jasper, formerly Thatcher, and his journey is written right here in these photos.
The before shows a rescued pup who came to us from Manitoba, unsure, still finding his footing, and just beginning his second chance.

The after? A confident, healthy, and incredibly handsome boy who has truly come into his own. Jasper is thriving in his forever home, surrounded by love, stability, and everything he needs to succeed.

Seeing transformations like this never gets old. It’s proof of what rescue, time, and the right match can do. We couldn’t be prouder of Jasper and so grateful to his amazing family for giving him the life he always deserved.

🎉 Happy Gotcha Day, Pinto❣️🎉

Today we’re celebrating Pinto, who has officially been adopted and absolutely adored in his forever home. He fits right in with his two canine siblings looking just like them, only smaller and completes the pack perfectly.🐾

Seeing Pinto settled, loved, and heading off on a lifetime of adventures with his family is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you to his amazing family for choosing adoption and for giving Pinto the wonderful home he deserves.🏡

Meet Trey❣️

Trey is a sweet 6-month-old girl weighing 29 lbs, and she’s an absolute joy. She’s affectionate, playful, and does well with other dogs and kids. She is learning to live with cats and is making steady, positive progress with continued guidance.

Trey is doing great with house training and has a solid daily routine. She is crate trained and understands where to go, occasionally using a p*e pad if needed. Her mornings start around 6:30 am with a walk, breakfast, and playtime. When her people are home, she loves backyard time, running, chasing soccer balls, and hopping around like a little kangaroo.

Evenings include dinner, a few walks, and cozy couch time before bed. Trey enjoys bones, stuffed toys, and rope toys, and loves lounging on the couch or bed on relaxed days.

She can be a little unsure in very busy, noisy areas but does well in calmer environments. She rides well in the car and walks nicely on leash, with just a bit of puppy pulling.

Happy Gotcha Day❣️

Congratulations Olivia and Arthur, and thank you for opening your hearts and your home to this sweet Tookie. Wishing you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories together. 🥰

🐾 Some stories stay with you forever… and Gloria and her babies are one of them.

Found on a remote Manitoba reserve, Gloria had tucked her puppies under a shed, hiding them away to keep them safe from the cold and the dangers around them. A devoted mama, protecting her babies the only way she knew how.

Because of kindness, teamwork, and rescue coming together, Gloria and every single one of her pups were brought to safety. One by one, they found their families. Today we celebrate Tookie’s adoption day, the final puppy from that litter to head home. From a hidden spot under a shed to a life filled with love, this photo captures a miracle made possible by compassion.

🙏 Please follow Save A Dog Network Canada — they work tirelessly around the clock, rescuing dogs from the elements, pulling them from heartbreaking situations, feeding those who don’t yet have placement, and doing everything possible to keep dogs from freezing to death during harsh winters.

Peluche has been in foster care for just one week, and it didn’t take long for him to show everyone what a wonderful dog he truly is. He is not shy at all instead, he’s confident, loving, and so easy to have around.

His foster family says Peluche is an absolute pleasure in the home. He gets along great with other dogs and loves being close to his people, happily following you from room to room just to keep you company. He settles in beautifully and fits right into daily life like he’s always belonged there.

Peluche is great with kids, fully housetrained, and loves car rides, making him an easy and enjoyable companion for everyday life and family adventures. He is not a big fan of cats so a no cat home for him.

Foster family said if they didn’t already have two dogs, they admit Peluche would be a definite foster fail he’s that special.❤️

This happy little guy was an owner surrender and is now ready to find his forever family❣️

Tramp is everything you’d hope for in a puppy: affectionate, playful, curious, and full of charm. He loves being near his people, enjoys toys and playtime, and has that classic terrier sparkle that keeps life entertaining. One minute he’s bouncing around exploring, the next he’s curled up for cuddles.

As a young pup, Tramp is still learning and growing, and he’s eager to soak it all in. He is currently working on his housetraining and doing well with routine and consistency. With positive training, structure, and lots of love, he’s going to grow into an amazing little companion. He’s smart, eager to please, and will make training feel more like playtime than work.

Meet Pinto!

Pinto is a 8-month-old Small Terrier mix weighing 12.7 lbs, and he’s packed with personality in his tiny frame. This sweet little guy came into rescue with his sister when their owner’s health declined, but Pinto has handled the transition beautifully greeting each day with a wagging tail, curiosity, and lots of affection.

True to his terrier roots, Pinto is smart, playful, and loves being around people. He does wonderfully with kids, gets along great with other dogs, and is even cat-friendly. He enjoys exploring the outdoors, running and playing with furry friends, and turning everyday moments into fun adventures.

When playtime is over, Pinto’s favorite place is right by your side. He loves to be held, cuddled, and included in everything you’re doing. He’s currently learning leash manners and house routines and is eager to please, making him a great candidate for continued training with positive reinforcement.
