He was taken straight to the vet for a full wellness check and his first vaccines, and we’re happy to report that he’s healthy and doing great and will have his second round for vaccines prior to heading to his furever home.

Jolene is a loving and gentle girl with a heart full of affection. She’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and thrive. While city life and busy streets can be overwhelming for her, she truly shines in peaceful, quiet environments.

She enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely thrive with a furry friend to guide her but another dog is not a requirement. Jolene is still working on her house training and will need a patient adopter who can continue supporting her progress. She would do best with someone who works from home or is retired, as she does not like to be left alone. With the right environment and love, Jolene will blossom into the devoted, loving companion she’s meant to be.

Jolene will require some dental work, which will be fully covered by the rescue. The adopter will need to be available to take her to her appointment sometime in January, as she is currently on a waitlist.

From Surviving to Thriving❣️

This is Jasper, formerly Thatcher, and his journey is written right here in these photos.
The before shows a rescued pup who came to us from Manitoba, unsure, still finding his footing, and just beginning his second chance.

The after? A confident, healthy, and incredibly handsome boy who has truly come into his own. Jasper is thriving in his forever home, surrounded by love, stability, and everything he needs to succeed.

Seeing transformations like this never gets old. It’s proof of what rescue, time, and the right match can do. We couldn’t be prouder of Jasper and so grateful to his amazing family for giving him the life he always deserved.

Meet Trey❣️

Trey is a sweet 6-month-old girl weighing 29 lbs, and she’s an absolute joy. She’s affectionate, playful, and does well with other dogs and kids. She is learning to live with cats and is making steady, positive progress with continued guidance.

Trey is doing great with house training and has a solid daily routine. She is crate trained and understands where to go, occasionally using a p*e pad if needed. Her mornings start around 6:30 am with a walk, breakfast, and playtime. When her people are home, she loves backyard time, running, chasing soccer balls, and hopping around like a little kangaroo.

Evenings include dinner, a few walks, and cozy couch time before bed. Trey enjoys bones, stuffed toys, and rope toys, and loves lounging on the couch or bed on relaxed days.

She can be a little unsure in very busy, noisy areas but does well in calmer environments. She rides well in the car and walks nicely on leash, with just a bit of puppy pulling.

Happy Gotcha Day❣️

Congratulations Olivia and Arthur, and thank you for opening your hearts and your home to this sweet Tookie. Wishing you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories together. 🥰

🐾 Some stories stay with you forever… and Gloria and her babies are one of them.

Found on a remote Manitoba reserve, Gloria had tucked her puppies under a shed, hiding them away to keep them safe from the cold and the dangers around them. A devoted mama, protecting her babies the only way she knew how.

Because of kindness, teamwork, and rescue coming together, Gloria and every single one of her pups were brought to safety. One by one, they found their families. Today we celebrate Tookie’s adoption day, the final puppy from that litter to head home. From a hidden spot under a shed to a life filled with love, this photo captures a miracle made possible by compassion.
