Adele may be small, but her heart is huge. She’s deaf, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit she’s bright, curious, and already learning hand signals for walk, sit, stay, and “good girl.” She’s adjusted beautifully to indoor life and thrives in a cozy, loving environment surrounded by people who make her feel safe.

She adores other dogs and gets along wonderfully with cats and kids. She recently joined her foster family for Thanksgiving, where she was an absolute star calm, happy, and full of joy. She even snuggled right up with her foster’s 10-year-old nephew the moment they met. 💖

Adele enjoys being brushed, is comfortable with nail trims, and doesn’t mind bath time (she’s even been known to hop into the shower on her own!). She’s doing great on leash walks, loves car rides, and occasionally naps in her open crate though she much prefers sleeping cuddled up beside her person at night.

Her foster describes her dream home as a calm, loving environment maybe a retired couple, a single adopter, or a family with gentle kids someone who wants a sweet, soft, affectionate companion to share their days with.

Adele is truly a special girl, gentle, affectionate, and full of quiet joy. She’s ready to bring warmth and love to the lucky family who welcomes her home. 🐾

At just 10 months old and only 22 lbs Jett is the perfect mix of playful puppy and affectionate best friend. He’s gentle, loving, and full of happy energy always ready for a walk, a car ride, or a good game of fetch. Wherever you go, Jett wants to be right by your side.

He’s great with other dogs and, although he hasn’t met any cats yet, his calm and friendly nature suggests he’d do just fine with them too. Jett is housetrained, crate trained, and doing well on leash especially when he has a dog buddy walking beside him.

This charming boy is equal parts cuddle bug and goofball. Most of the time, he’s happiest snuggled right up against his person on your lap, your chest, or tucked beside you on the couch. But when the zoomies hit, Vampire transforms into a bouncy little kangaroo, racing around the room with pure joy!

He’s great with other dogs and loves to play, especially with his foster sister they’re always stealing each other’s toys, play-fighting, and then napping together in a pile of cuteness. He’d also do perfectly fine as the only dog in the home, as long as he has people who will give him plenty of love and attention.

Vampire is gentle, patient, and great with kids, showing a kind, loving nature that melts hearts everywhere he goes.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving best friend who’s equal parts goofy and sweet, Scooby’s your guy!

Scooby is an absolute gem of a dog gentle, affectionate, and full of personality. He’s lived happily with 8 other dogs and got along great with all of them! He’s also wonderful with kids and loves being part of the action, whether that’s a backyard game of fetch or movie night on the couch.

In the house, Scooby is truly a dream, house trained, crate trained, and calm. He’s quiet, easy-going, and perfectly content snoozing while his humans work or going from room to room to stay close to his people. When it’s time to rest, he settles beautifully in his crate without barking or whining and patiently waits to be let out.

This handsome boy adores playtime especially fetch! 🎾 Tennis balls, soccer balls, squeaky toys… if it rolls or squeaks, Scooby’s in! He’s also got a silly side and loves to lean against his people or perch at the window to watch the world go by.

Scooby’s leash manners are improving every day he walks nicely with a harness but can get excited when he sees other dogs on leash. He’s a strong boy who just needs someone confident and committed to continuing his training. He’s very smart and eager to please, he already knows sit, paw, down, wait, and is working on leave it!

Scooby would thrive with an active family or person who enjoys walks, playtime, and lots of snuggles. He’s happiest when he’s near his humans, sharing love, laughter, and maybe a spot on the couch. 💕

🐾✨ 20 LUCKY SOULS SAVED ✨🐾

This past weekend, 20 very lucky dogs were saved from being euthanized , 20 lives that now have a second chance❤️

Behind every rescue like this is an incredible amount of work, countless messages, coordination, vet checks, transport, supplies, and planning to make sure every single dog arrives safely and has what they need. It truly takes a village.

A huge heartfelt thank you to our amazing team, Fosters and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, from organizing travel and paperwork to setting up fosters and gathering food, crates, and beds. Your dedication, compassion, and time make all the difference. 🐶💪

Tonight, 20 once-forgotten souls are loved, their bellies are full, and they each have a warm bed to sleep in. 🩵

You can’t change a dog’s past, but you can help rewrite it, and today, you all did just that. 🐾

You all remember our sweet Tessa, rescued from Texas after being found chained up and nearly starved to death… 💔

Well, look at her now living her absolute best life as Kairo! 🥰 This beautiful girl hit the jackpot with her amazing fur mom, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect match. ❤️

The wait for the right forever home definitely paid off, just look at that smile! From heartbreak to happiness, Kairo’s story reminds us exactly why we do what we do. 🐶✨💕

This little Cockapoo might be small, but she’s already taking the world (and a few hearts) by storm! Rosie came to Backstreet Paws after her previous home’s cat made it very clear that puppies were not part of the household plan. No worries though Rosie took it all in stride, tail wagging and ready for her next adventure!

She’s sweet as a button, playful, and about 80% wiggle with a sprinkle of sass. 😄 Whether she’s zooming across the floor or melting into your arms for cuddles, Rosie’s the kind of pup who’ll have you laughing one minute and swooning the next.

Rosie will grow to be around 18–20 pounds, making her the perfect size for lap snuggles, road trips, and stealing your pillow.
