I never thought I would have to make this post, but here it goes. It's with the heaviest heart I must say we had to say goodbye to our most handsome boy, co-founder and best friend, Kevin this morning.

After many recent complications with chronic IBD and exhausting every option, it was clear it had suddenly and most unfortunately become Kevin's time.

Kevin came into my life 6 years ago, stumbling and as goofy as ever. I'm so thankful I got to spend the second half, better half of his life by his side, spoiling him with every spare moment. Whether it was hand made toys or a second trip out back, I needed to love him as hard as the love and life he brought to me every day.

I will miss this sweet young man forever, my first boy and my best friend. I can only hope and believe he's chasing moths and grasshoppers in the tall grass once again.

Thank you to everyone who has every supported us here at KKCT. We will carry on in Kevin's honor and spirit.

Over the past summer, Kevin and I have been hard at work planting, growing, harvesting and drying our own organic catnip to add to our store!

Keep your eyes (and noses) out, we will be portioning and packing them for the upcoming holiday season and markets alike! We can't wait to share our stinky stuff with your furry friends 😸

Hello and Welcome to Kevin’s Korner!

Kevin’s Korner is home to is home to unique and handmade organic catnip toys. From funky new friends to late-night guilty pleasures, our goal at Kevin’s Korner is to bring cats and their owners closer together over a shared delight.

Kevin’s Korner Cat Toys began as a hobby and an unhealthy obsession with spoiling Kevin, our cat at home. His toys quickly overcrowded his corner and with inspiration continuing to flow from everyday life, we decided it was best to begin sharing his toys with every other cool cat and catnip enthusiast out there.

All of Kevin’s cat toys are skillfully crafted, many can be personalized and for our diverse cats, we’re open to catnip-free options as well! Otherwise, each toy is made using only organic North American catnip, 100% polyester felt and fibre, cotton embroidery thread, and eco-friendly, compostable packaging.

We’re always looking for new inspiration and working on new treats to add to Kevin’s Korner, please follow along and feel free to let us know if you have any favourite snacks you would like to see added to the menu!

Although Kevin is always the main attraction (who can blame us 😻) with local markets fast approaching, it is about time I introduce myself.

Hello everybody! My name is Charlie, Kevin's dad and the creative behind Kevin's Korner. As mentioned many times before, our store was born out of my obsession with providing this little guy with the best life I possibly could. From daily supervised trips into the backyard, a constant rotation of home-grown cat grass, all the way to developing a small business behind his face, our companionship continues to be the most cherished moments of my days.

Althought Kevin unfortunately wont be in attendence, but Im so excited to embark on this new adventure of craft and handmade markets in the GTA+H. Our first one is tomorrow, from 10am - 2pm. Please feel free to come out and say hello, we can't wait to see you there!

It's official, Kevin's Korner Cat Toys will be attending the Mother's Day Burlington Handmade Market this May 11th!

We're so excited to announce that after a long year of creating and crafting that we have decided to take our toys on tour through handmade craft markets in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area!

Our first appearance is fast approaching! Taking place in our hometown, the Mother's Day Burlington Handmade Market is being held on May 11th from 10am - 2pm at Corpus Christi High School in Burlington, Ontario. Entry is free and features local aristans and handmade craft vendors. We would love to see you there, come out and say hello!! 😸😻😺

I began this project not really sure where the logo was going but it was a lot of fun to make and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
