Today has been a very long day, and as I finally head to bed to wake up at 5:30 to take Priscilla in for her surgery, I am filled with gratitude for all your support. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $1,730 today for Priscilla! Today's total bill was $720, and tomorrow's will be about $7,100. We still have a way to go, but I believe in our community's strength.

Luna was a cherished member of our Fur-Ever Able family, and her loss is a tremendous blow to all of us.Early this morning, we discovered that Luna had tragically choked on a piece of kibble. Despite our immediate efforts, it was too late to save her. This was an unforeseen and heartbreaking accident, and we are devastated by her sudden departure.We want to assure our supporters and community that Luna's care and safety have always been our top priority. Accidents like this are rare but serve as a somber reminder of how fragile life can be. 🚨 Apply!!!! All Rex wants is to find his fur-ever people! He is a super sweet, easygoing and loveable cane corso bully mix.
Rex was born with fused front elbows but that does not slow him! He loves running around, playing with other dogs and spending lots of time outside. He also loves chew toys - particularly antler bones! Rex is NOT a fan of his front limb prosthetics. We believe he loves life just on two legs.
He has spent his full life being loved like one of our own at the hub! He is VERY much a family friendly dog and even though he lives with up to 15 dogs at a time he still needs proper slow introductions to fur-siblings! He is gentle and patient with kids :)
Rex needs someone who will be patient as he does move slower sometimes like when he is outside basking in the sun and doesn't want to come inside LOL .
REX can climb up the stairs but needs help to go down stairs. He is also an early riser 6am ⏰ so while he loves sleeping in his crate at night he needs someone who is willing to wake up early just to let him out for a pee and will go back to bed. Once he is let outside he is happy to curl up on the couch in the morning. Rex has done great with crate training and is comfortable in his crate during the day and night. During the daytime he generally can’t go longer than about 4-5 hours in his crate though so he needs someone who can come home and let him out during the day.
Rex is super healthy and we believe he is now fully grown!
We do encourage you to look up dogs on YouTube with 2 functional legs as you will see these dogs can thrive and live a long happy and healthy life.
