Good morning, everyone,

We are currently on our way to the vet with our Shelby. Shelby has a bilateral cleft lip and palate. Unfortunately, the front of her nose is bleeding, and there’s a very bad smell coming from her palate. We need to bring her in to see the vet urgently.

If you have any donations to help with her treatment, we would be incredibly grateful. Every little bit helps. Donations can be sent via EMT to **[email protected]**. Don’t forget to fill in the Linktree tax form for a tax receipt at the end of the year.

Thank you for your support.

**Update on Priscilla**

We’re happy to report that Priscilla is doing well and currently recovering. She’s in good spirits, and we’re hopeful about her progress.

Yesterday, she went in for her initial consultation, and today, she underwent surgery. During the surgery, the vet discovered that Priscilla’s bone was already hardened and fused.

Our vet advised us that continuing with the surgery to reposition the bone would result in a very hard recovery, with uncertain success. There was a high chance she would need a complete amputation in a few months. Given this, we made the difficult decision to close her up and focus on rehabbing the fused bones and joints. Although it’s not perfect, Priscilla might be able to thrive with her leg as it is now.

We decided against amputation today since Priscilla is still able to walk. The vet agreed that we should give her some time to recover from the surgery she had and possibly consider amputation in the future if needed.

Thank you for all your support and understanding. We continue to need your help to ensure she has the best possible chance for a happy, healthy life.

Please keep Priscilla in your thoughts and consider donating if you can. Every little bit helps!

Dear Friends,

Today has been a very long day, and as I finally head to bed to wake up at 5:30 to take Priscilla in for her surgery, I am filled with gratitude for all your support. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $1,730 today for Priscilla! Today's total bill was $720, and tomorrow's will be about $7,100. We still have a way to go, but I believe in our community's strength.

There's still time to make a difference—if each of us sends just $5, we can reach our goal together. Every bit helps, and your support means the world to Priscilla and to all of us here.

If you'd like to donate directly to the vet, you can meet me at MOVEH at 7:30am tomorrow.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

With sincere gratitude,
Ashley, the crazy dog momma

**🐾 Urgent Help Needed for Priscilla! 🐾**

We have an urgent update about Priscilla, our sweet four-month-old French bulldog who has recently come into our care with a fractured elbow (L lateral humeral condyle). Unfortunately, our regular ortho surgeon, who has always supported us with these surgeries, is off for six weeks.

We were really counting on their support to help Priscilla, but now we are on our way to MOVEH (Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital), and the estimated cost for her surgery is upwards of $9,000.

Priscilla's situation is critical, and she needs this surgery as soon as possible. We urgently need your help to cover the costs of her care.

**How You Can Help:**

🔹 **Donate:** Every little bit counts! Your donations will go directly towards Priscilla's urgent surgery and rehabilitation. You can send an EMT to [email protected]. Donors will receive a tax receipt at the end of the year if they wish to request one.

🔹 **Share Priscilla's Story:** Spread the word by sharing this post with your friends and family. The more people who know about Priscilla, the better her chances of receiving the help she needs.

🔹 **Volunteer:** If you're able to volunteer your time or resources, please get in touch. Every bit of support makes a difference.

Priscilla is a fighter, and with your help, she can overcome this hurdle and live the happy, healthy life she deserves. Thank you for being a part of our community and for your unwavering support.

**Donate Now:** Send an EMT to [email protected]

Let's rally together for Priscilla. She needs us now more than ever.

**🐾 Meet Priscilla: A Little Fighter in Need of Urgent Help! 🐾**

We’d like you to meet Priscilla, a sweet and spirited four-month-old French bulldog who has just arrived today at our care. Priscilla’s family faced significant life changes and, sadly, couldn’t afford the surgery to fix her fractured elbow (L lateral humeral condyle). They made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her, hoping to give her a chance at a pain-free life.

At Fur-Ever Able Dog Rescue And Rehab, we’ve seen many cases like Priscilla’s and have successfully helped countless dogs with your support. However, Priscilla’s situation is urgent. She needs immediate surgery to repair her fractured elbow, and we need your help to make this happen as soon as possible.

🐶🚨🐶❤️FOSTERS NEEDED 🚨❤️🐶

We are looking for loving and understanding fosters for 3 of our super cute pups.
All 3 will need longer term fosters until they are old enough for their surgery’s or until a medical plan is established.
1. Finn- he is an 8 week old 4 lb mini American shepherd. His wee wee is exposed (surgery will take place once old enough) and is having issues with his bowels (constipated) he is trying to go to the washroom outdoors but does have tiny accidents. Due to his condition he will need bum washes and cream applied to bum daily (A MUST). Good with dogs, cats, kids. Will need booster vaccinations (at Cheltenham veterinary centre)
2. Shelby- she is a 4 month old 8lb Frenchie/pug cross with a bilateral cleft lip and a cleft palate. We are still figuring out where her surgery will take place (ovc or cheltenham) she will be a longer term foster. Great with dogs, cats, kids. Super fun girl. Not fully house trained but almost there. Up to date on vaccines (will need a booster in August at cheltenham veterinary centre) Needs to drink out of hamster water bottle. Surgery is a 1 1/2 month long with strict guidelines.
3. Luna- she is a 8 week old 8 lb black lab with a cleft palate. She will need a surgery at cheltenham when old enough (approximately 2 months longer). She is the sweetest smart girl. She is good with dogs (but shy), cats and kids. Needs to drink out of hamster water bottle. Surgery is a 1 1/2 month long with strict guidelines. She will need booster vaccinations (Cheltenham veterinary centre).
If you are interested in joining our foster family please send us a message, email or fill out an application at fureverable.com

It's been a bit of a challenging week for us at Fur-Ever Able Dog Rescue and Rehab. Last Friday, we received just one Five Dollar Friday donation, and our Instagram fundraiser closed with zero dollars raised. We understand that times are tough for everyone right now, just like they are for our sweet boy Stanley.

Stanley has been in our care for months, and we're desperately hoping to get him the surgery he needs soon. The cost for his surgery is almost $8000 if we go to OVC, and we're praying for a miracle to make this happen in the near future.

Thankfully, we have incredible fosters who provide small meals to Stanley throughout the day and evening, ensuring he lives a happy and thriving life. While his surgery isn't an immediate need, we are committed to giving him the best care possible until we can afford it.

If you can help in any way, whether it's through a donation or simply sharing Stanley's story, it would mean the world to us. Every little bit counts and brings us one step closer to getting Stanley the care he deserves.

The number of people that post dogs on Kijiji for free and even worse DISABLED dogs ( like our boy MAV) he could have ended up being this dog! I know times are hard ( Money is tight for everyone) Listen, if we can help get you food items for your dog if you have no money, PM me! I would need proof that you are definitely in need and using it for your dog. But don't go put your animals for free. Find people to help you we need to help one another and get out of this crisis. No animal deserves this! Rescues are FULL! But ask for help, and I will try to point you in the right direction! Email me in confidence [email protected]. Please share and bring awareness. I have saved so many dogs off kijiji that we can no longer do that as we have no funds, but write, and I'll try to point you in a good direction.

Looking for cost-effective spay and neuter for your pet or vaccines please contact East Village Animal Hospital- Kitchener, Kitchener or London would be able to help with proper proof of income. I also believe there is an East Village Animal Hospital - Hamilton, too!

**🌟 Meet Finn - Our Courageous New Pup! 🐾**

It's Hump Day, and we have a special introduction to brighten your midweek! Say hello to Finn, our adorable Mini American Shepherd! 🥰

Finn is not just any puppy; he’s a little hero who was born with perineal hypoplasia, a condition that gives him an underdeveloped perineal area. But don’t let that fool you—Finn's spirit is as big as his heart! ❤️

From the moment Finn arrived, he’s shown us what true resilience looks like. He’s ready to take on the world with his wagging tail and boundless energy, and we can’t wait to see him thrive with your love and support.

✨ How You Can Help:
1. **Donate**: Every little bit helps Finn and puppies like him. Send donations to [email protected].
2. **Share**: Spread the word! Share Finn’s story with your friends and family.
3. **Support**: Follow our journey on [Linktree](https://linktr.ee/Fureverable) and stay tuned for updates.

Thank you for being a part of Finn’s journey and helping us give him the best life possible. Let’s show Finn that no challenge is too big when we have a community like ours behind him! 💪🐶

Helping puppies with needs!

We are really lucky to have such an amazing connection with animals and for this type of work it is important. Our puppies are 100% treated as family and we find the BEST rehab and veterinary care for them while in our rescue. We are here to help not judge anyone we have the knowledge and expertise to work with various animals with needs. As of right now if you know anyone that needs care for their puppy with a need please do not hesitate to contact. It is better for your puppy to get the help they need at an early stage instead of waiting and risking infections and lack of nutrition. Clef Palate, Clef Lip, Swimmers Syndrome and the list goes on! WE are on a 24 hour feeding scheduled and are trained to tube feed, and provide the proper care for these tiny pups. Please consider us instead of euthanasia. These puppies have a right to live happy adjusted lives with loving families.
