I’m a warrior! Not only am I blind, but I was also born with four legs—though I lost one of my hind legs at the knee during birth due to trauma. My mom likely bit it off while trying to care for me.

I know life won’t always be easy, but with all of you behind me, I believe I will thrive! Thank you to everyone who believes in pups like me. Your support means the world and allows my amazing human Fur-Ever Able mom and dad to continue their life-saving work.

🌟🙏🍀 We have a crucial day coming up for Finn at OVC on January 6th, and we’re hopeful for answers and help for his rare and complex condition. Finn was born with a congenital issue where his genitalia and a**s are connected, creating one opening for urine and f***s. This has caused severe incontinence and infections, risking toxin buildup and eventual kidney failure.

Our goal is a reconstructive surgery to create a proper urethra and a**s, giving Finn a better quality of life. Without it, his condition is life-threatening. We expect Finn will need an MRI or CT scan to plan his surgery, which will be costly—but it’s his best chance.

🌟 Seeking Future Fosters for Katz and Ty 🌟

We’re starting the search for foster homes for two very special puppies, Katz and Ty. While there’s no immediate need, we want to ensure we’re prepared to place them in the perfect homes when the time comes.

About Katz and Ty:
🐾 Katz: A sweet, smaller-sized Miniature Poodle who is blind.
🐾 Ty: A lovable American Bully who is also blind and a tripod (a dog with three legs). Ty will grow to be a larger dog and may require additional support due to his size and mobility.

What We’re Looking For:
Fostering blind dogs, especially one like Ty who is also a tripod, takes dedication and patience. We need fosters who can:
• Provide a safe and stable environment to help these puppies navigate the world.
• Understand the unique needs of blind dogs, such as consistency in routines and home layouts.
• Offer care tailored to each puppy’s size and requirements, from Ty’s larger frame to Katz’s smaller stature.

Just like that, the most amazing family came along, and Benji made his decision very clear during his meet and greet—he absolutely adored them!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who applied. We are so grateful for the love and support. As many of you know, these Cockapoos receive an average of 40 to 50 applications, and narrowing it down to the top five families was no easy task.

But in the end, Benji chose his family, and we couldn’t be happier for him! Wishing Benji and his new family all the best as they start this beautiful new chapter together. You can even follow Benji’s journey on Instagram!

As we look back on 2024, we are filled with immense gratitude and joy because of the incredible difference our community has made. This year, your generosity and kindness helped save the lives of so many dogs, giving them a second chance at happiness. Because of your unwavering support, over 30 medical pups found their forever homes; a milestone we couldn’t have reached without you.
This year has also been a bittersweet journey. While we celebrate the lives of those pups who found their happily ever after, we also remember and honor those we lost along the way. Some of these beautiful souls didn’t make it home, but they still felt the warmth of love, care, and support. Whether it was through a comforting touch, a kind word, or a donation that eased their suffering, you gave them the gift of love and dignity at a time when they needed it most.
Whether it was through donations, sharing posts, volunteering time, or opening your hearts and homes to an animal in need, you were all a part of these successes. Every adoption is a victory, not just for the dog, but for the families who welcomed them into their lives and for all of us who continue to believe in the power of compassion.

As the year comes to a close, we’re reflecting on everything we’ve accomplished together. Thanks to your unwavering support, we’ve given so many animals a second chance at life. From life-saving surgeries to around-the-clock care for cleft palate puppies, you’ve been with us every step of the way.

But as of today, we still have an outstanding balance of $8,085 in vet bills. These funds represent the care, love, and dedication poured into every animal we’ve rescued this year. Pearl is ready for adoption applications:
Hello there! I’m Pearl, a sweet 3-month-old Cockapoo, and I’m ready to find my forever family. I have all the best traits of a Cockapoo: I’m playful, affectionate, and full of personality! I love to run and play with my squeaky toys, but when I’m done, I’m all about cuddles and snuggling up next to you. I’m also a pretty good sleeper and love cozying up in my crate after a fun day of play.
I’m a bit shy when I first meet new people, but once I warm up, I’m incredibly loyal and love to be your sidekick. Cockapoos are known for being friendly and social, and I definitely fit the bill. I get along well with my foster brothers, both a cat and a dog, and I’m always excited to make new friends. I’m still learning potty training, but I’m making great strides every day.
I’m a smart little cookie, and although I’m still learning, I’m eager to please! My foster mom has been working with me on leash walking, and I’m starting to get the hang of it. I’m also learning how to go up and down stairs; going up is easy for me, but I’m still perfecting going down.
I may need a little time to adjust to new things, but I’m ready to share all my love with the right family. If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and smart best friend, I’m your girl! Ricky Dicky is ready for adoption 🐾
Ricky Dicky is a 6-month-old, fluffy, spirited Chihuahua full of energy, love, and personality! This long-haired cutie is as affectionate as he is playful—he adores cuddles, kisses, and being your shadow. Ricky is attached to his people and thrives on attention, giving back loyalty and love in return. 💕
He’s social with both small and large dogs (he plays with pups as big as 120lbs and as small as 3lbs!) and gets along well with cats. Whether it’s running, jumping, or playing tug of war, Ricky loves staying active and showing off his agility skills. 🐾
Ricky can be independent and confident, taking the lead during playtime and showing off his big personality. He’s also possessive of high-value items like bones or fruit, so he’d do best in a home where his belongings are respected.
Ricky is perfect for a semi-active to active family who enjoys outdoor play and bonding time. He would thrive with other pets or as the solo star of the show, as long as he’s getting plenty of love and attention! 🏡

Meet Tyson (Now Buddy): A Story of Resilience, Joy, and a Perfect Forever Home

Tyson came into our care about a week after he was born. At first, he seemed like a healthy pup with no visible defects like a cleft palate or lip. But as soon as his eyes opened, it was clear something was wrong with one of them. Sadly, veterinary care was delayed, and by the time Tyson was surrendered to us, the damage was severe.

The day he arrived, we rushed him to our vet, Dr. David. His eye had already ruptured due to an untreated cataract, leaving him blind on one side. If Tyson had been brought to us sooner, we might have been able to save his eye—but we did everything we could to ensure the best possible outcome for him.

As if that wasn’t enough, Tyson also faced parvovirus. Despite initial negative tests, one of the neonates surrendered to us was unknowingly a carrier, and Tyson contracted the virus. It was a tough battle, but Tyson’s resilience amazed us.

Through everything—losing an eye, fighting parvo—Tyson never stopped being a ray of sunshine. His joy was infectious, and his wagging bum seemed to shake the world with happiness. He reminded us why we fight so hard for these animals.

Today, Tyson is thriving in his forever home, where he is spoiled beyond belief by his amazing mom. His new name, Buddy, suits him perfectly. He’s living his best life, surrounded by love, care, and happiness—the life he truly deserves.

Buddy’s journey is a testament to the power of hope, resilience, and community. Without the incredible support from our donors, we wouldn’t have been able to save him. You all made a difference in Buddy’s life, and we are forever grateful.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us give Buddy the happy ending he deserved.

🌟 Nani & Stitch: A Story of Resilience and Love 🌟

As many of you know, Nani and Stitch, a precious brother-and-sister duo, came into our care when they were just hours old. These tiny Chihuahua pups were born with cleft lips—a condition often labeled a “midline defect”—and were considered unlikely to survive. Tragically, their litter originally had three puppies, but one didn’t make it.

From the start, Nani and Stitch showed their fighting spirit. With tube feedings every two hours and constant care, they grew strong enough to transition from our hub to a loving foster family. Their foster family worked tirelessly to keep them thriving, ensuring they gained weight and stayed healthy.

Puppies born with disabilities like cleft lips face numerous challenges. Along the way, Nani and Stitch have had a few hiccups even since their adoption, but their journey is a testament to resilience and love.

Why We Do What We Do
Many puppies born with conditions like this are euthanized at birth because of the care they require. But thanks to your support, we can provide them with the fighting chance they deserve. With incubators, puppy milk, syringes, feeding tubes, and round-the-clock care, we do everything possible to give them the best start in life.

Nani and Stitch are survivors because of this dedication—and because of you.

These inseparable pug brothers came into our care after facing unimaginable loss. When their owners passed away, they were surrendered to a breeder, who then entrusted them to us. From the very start, Samwise and Frodo faced challenges—both had severe leg issues that left them weak and struggling to stand.

With the love and support of an incredible foster family and a dedicated veterinary team, these brave brothers began to thrive. Their legs grew stronger, and their spirits brighter, proving just how resilient they truly are.

When it was time to find their forever home, we faced an unexpected challenge. Due to their unique black legs, these sweet boys were overlooked by potential adopters. But sometimes, the best things are meant to stay right where they are—and their foster family agreed.

We are really lucky to have such an amazing connection with animals and for this type of work it is important. Our puppies are 100% treated as family and we find the BEST rehab and veterinary care for them while in our rescue. We are here to help not judge anyone we have the knowledge and expertise to work with various animals with needs. As of right now if you know anyone that needs care for their puppy with a need please do not hesitate to contact. It is better for your puppy to get the help they need at an early stage instead of waiting and risking infections and lack of nutrition. Clef Palate, Clef Lip, Swimmers Syndrome and the list goes on! WE are on a 24 hour feeding scheduled and are trained to tube feed, and provide the proper care for these tiny pups. Please consider us instead of euthanasia. These puppies have a right to live happy adjusted lives with loving families.
