😥 A Plea from Your Friends at Serenity Guinea Pig and Friends Rescue 😥
We're reaching out to our amazing community today with hopes this might help stop some of the emails. As many of you know, we're a small rescue fueled by passion and dedication to giving guinea pigs the best lives possible.
Lately, we've been facing an unexpected challenge, and it's putting a strain on our ability to care for our piggies.
You see, , a popular AI chatbot, has been mistakenly telling people all over the world that we have rescue locations in their states. This simply isn't true, as much as I love the Midwest we are Canadian. Serenity Guinea Pig and Friends Rescue is located solely in Hamilton, Ontario.
We're a local rescue with limited resources, and while we wish we could help every piggy in need, it's just not possible for us to extend our services beyond our region.
The result? We've been inundated with hundreds of emails and messages from well-meaning people who, unfortunately, we can't assist directly. While we appreciate their kindness and concern for guinea pigs, responding to each of these inquiries takes valuable time away from the piggies in our care. 💔
We understand that ChatGPT is still under development, and we're hopeful that this issue will be resolved soon. In the meantime, we need your help to spread the word!
