This is a great reminder for dog owners. It also serves to reinforce my decisions when I've had to remove dogs from group walks, as they just weren't a fit for what we are doing; your dog is still a great dog.

There's a lot of talk about Leptospirosis in the GTA, so I wanted to post a link on the current vaccine. I think it's a good idea to speak with your vet about it if your dog has not already received the vaccine this year. (the article is from 2014, but it is still relevant).

We have written about Leptospirosis in the past, and promised to update you when new information became available. Leptospirosis is a very serious illness that can cause severe liver and kidney disease, and even death, in dogs.

Sam & George have a good wrestle!

Marina playing fetch. She may be almost 13yrs old, but she's still got a few moves. :)

Sam grooms Freddie several times per day. Freddie is a filthy beast, apparently.

George, Freddie, and Sam have a good play session. George managed to have a good play for probably 10 minutes, only getting amped at the end of this video. (I ended their play after I stopped the video). Great job doggies! :)

Tucker, Eli, Max, and Frannie had a great run today! We were very lucky it only rained the first half of our run and we had a nice tree canopy. :)

Eli was adopted 2 years ago through a program called Tails from Greece. Eli was a street dog in Greece, who had no focus, no recall, a dog we jokingly called A.D.D. dog. However, through hard work from both his mom and I, he has become one highly motivated guy. He loves to work, he loves food, and he loves to make friends. Eli loves to roam and explore the parks. He can jump the 3ft fences like they're nothing. Recall was a really important thing to teach Eli; really, it's the most important thing to teach ANY dog. I don't care if the dog can sit, heel, do a handstand; if they have no recall, I'm screwed. Eli was taught recall without coercive methods. I can't get him to stop jumping fences, so I had to get him to recall at all times. I love this guy!
