The idea of Dog Wash Co came to be after Ruby joined the family. The large, playful pup is a social butterfly and a magnet for mud puddles and doggy slobber. I (Leah) would dread leaving the park as much as Ruby, my reason was for the mess that would follow us home, into the apartment and inevitably into my clean bathtub. Having a separate space at home or somewhere to stop on our way home to get Ruby clean seemed like a dream. Spending as much time as we do at the dog park and knowing that other owners faced the same dirty situation, it only made sense to provide a service for all of our dog friends and neighbours. Dog Wash Co is looking to open its first location in the Trinity Bellwoods area, convenient for all those that visit the dog park in Trinity. By contributing to the Dog Wash Co opening, contributors will have a place to easily clean their dog and relieving them from the pains of extra housework. We are looking to create a space where we can connect with our neighbours and their pets that is comfortable and fun for everyone.
