6-year-old Jadoe (rhymes with "Shadow") isn't just a handsome face: he's confident, playful, and friendly as can be!

Jadoe would happily hang out with people almost 24/7. He loves to chill together, play together, and get pets during the day and curling up to sleep at someone's feet at night. He also loves to talk, and he'll never hesitate to let you know when it's time for food or fun!

When people aren't around, fellow animals are pretty good too: although he does try to steal his fellow felines' food and will occasionally insist on being the only cat on the bed, he can frequently be found lounging near his foster siblings while waiting for his humans to finish work.

Jadoe is very agreeable, and his foster family thinks he'd likely be good with animal-loving kids, cat-friendly dogs... he even warms up to guests fairly quickly! Although he doesn't like to be picked up, he'll happily take kisses, scritches, and pets forward, backward and side to side. He just loves the attention!

Don't think it's all about him, though: when Jadoe hears that a person or pet sounds hurt or upset, he often runs in the room to ask what's wrong. Everyone feels loved when Jadoe is around!

Sisters Bomi (the tortie) and Maisie (the tabby) are the best of friends. The four-month olds spend most of their time playing and cuddling.

Bomi is very affectionate, always choosing to sleep on your lap rather than alone. Her loud purrs and conversational meows are her way of engaging with you. Maisie is gentle and easygoing, with a playful streak. She has a delightful habit of nuzzling and giving kisses, especially when being brushed.

Pickles and Sunny are one-year-old sister and brother duo who must be adopted together.

Pickles has a gentle soul and though shy and timid around most people, she has warmed up to her foster mom and enjoys butt scratches, especially around dinner time (food is the key to gaining her trust). While hesitant about physical affection, Pickles loves being near her humans. She often sits just out of reach, keeping a watchful eye and enjoying your presence. With the heart of a hunter, she delights in chasing toy mice and wand toys and is an expert fly catcher.

Sunny is spirited, full of personality and charm. He tends to be shy around strangers but reveals his goofy playful side once he feels comfortable. This orange ball of energy loves pets, adores catnip and insists on a clean litter box. Sunny is quite vocal when he's in a playful mood, meowing to his sister and the world around him. He loves to chase, hunt and zoom around the house. Once you have his trust, he's incredibly affectionate.

Lady Mittens is a lovely and shy little princess. She enjoys her personal space and a couple of times per day will come to you for brush sessions and b***y pets. She will observe your daily routine from her shelf and will keep you company in the bathroom guarding you from unseen monsters. At night she loves to delight you with her beautiful voice by singing the song of her people in front of your bed. She is chatty, cooing like a cute pigeon. Lady Mittens is not food motivated but she absolutely loves to be brushed! She drools in complete bliss every time!

Six-year-old Jill will greet you with meows and flop down for floor snuggles. She loves playtime and meows excitedly when the toy drawer opens! Jill is content to hang out on a perch looking out the window or sleep on a chair next to you. She often comes by for head rubs, and will sit in your lap for treats. Each night Jill tucks herself into bed, and in the morning politely waits or plays until the humans get up.

July is National Pet Hydration Awareness Month.

Water is essential to your cat’s health. It helps it maintain good health and replace the fluids that they lose through their urine and f***s. If dehydration is left untreated in your cat, the condition can lead to other severe medical concerns.

Your cat needs a daily amount of about 3.5 to 4.5 ounces of water per 5 pounds of their body weight. So if you have a 10 pound cat, for example, they should be drinking between 7 to 9 ounces of water daily.

If your cat eats wet food, you may notice that it doesn’t drink as much water. That’s because the cat is consuming water when they eat (wet food is made of up to 80% water). Cats who just eat dry food won’t consume as much water from their food so need to get hydrated by drinking from their water dish.

Some signs of dehydration in cats include loss of energy, panting, refusal to eat, sunken eyes, and tacky and dry gums. If you suspect that your cat is dehydrated, contact your vet for help right away.

To help your cat maintain healthy hydration, ensure that they can always access fresh water in a clean bowl every day. 🧡

Freddie is a 10-year-old sweet, shy boy who will be an adorable addition to your home.

Freddie's two favourite things in life are cuddles and food. He is very vocal and will meow to chat with you all through the day. He'll meow to say hi, meow to ask for pets, and meow out of sheer joy when it's time for dinner!

You won't find a more proper cat than Shadow, who loves to sit with his paws crossed. This sweet senior boy stole his foster mom's heart with his curiosity, his insistence on sitting nearby, and his little mumbles of conversation.
