Proper socialization aids in training your dog in proper social etiquette and social play etiquette. Proper socialization can also help in the prevention of your dog developing fears and anxiety. This also aids in the development of a well-mannered dog, which makes them easier to handle in public areas.

DOGGIE DID YOU KNOW?

Dogs overheat during hot weather; they can also suffer from heat and sunstroke. Their bodies cool down through panting and sweating through their paws. Panting allows dogs to circulate the necessary air throughout their bodies.

During heat waves, keep your dog indoors. Hot pavement and asphalt can burn dog paw pads. Let them out for brief periods and walk during the cooler temperatures. Cooling pads are a great option for dogs. Try adding ice to their water to help keep it cool. Water time fun as this allows your dogs to cool down while providing them with enrichment.

Canine Behaviour Consultations

Helping dog parents manage and understand their dog(s) behaviours. Working alongside dog parents to assist with their difficulties and working on creating a healthy humane human-dog relationship. It's all about building those bonds.

During the consultation, address any concerns, issues, or assistance you may require. These can include behaviours like, but not limited to, jumping, biting, chewing, destruction, anxiety, and digging. A chance to get more information on your dog-specific breed and canine enrichment.

Behaviour "issues" can put a serious strain on the human-dog relationship. Lack of enrichment can also cause behavioural issues and add to the strain. It's never too late to ask for help.
