The end of the month is fast approaching, and we still haven’t found our new home. In 40 years in Toronto I’ve never seen a rental market like this. Unfortunately the current economy and skyrocketing housing prices have dramatically increased the number of people looking to rent instead of buy.
We may end up packing all of our belongings into a POD container and moving into an airbnb or short term rental for a month.
Either way, the house must be packed, broken bones or not, so this week was a “just do it” week.
More houses to look at today, then weekend market @cfshopsdonmills Saturday and Sunday.

We have been struggling with a reactive two year old Westie in the house, so this really resonates with me🤣Everything is cause for alarm…dogs, people with strollers, people with umbrellas, people with backpacks or scooters or hats or…We’ve tried everything and still she loses her ever loving mind. Treat rewards don’t work as a distraction because when she’s in “batsh*t crazy mode” she has no interest in them.
