As I follow the updates on the fires in the LA region, I am reminded of the crucial importance of proper crate training for dogs. A crate should be a place of refuge for your dog, offering safety, comfort, relaxation, and a break from the environment. When a dog feels secure in its crate, evacuations during crises, such as the current situation in LA, are significantly simplified. A crated dog will be more at ease in new environments, allowing owners to cope with the stress more effectively without being constantly tied to the dog's leash.
