What a face!

The common rain frog (Breviceps adspersus), or bushveld rain frog, lives underground, only emerging to feed and mate after a rain, usually at night. If attacked, the frog "inflates" in defense. This frog is found throughout southern Africa.

Empusa fasciata 😯😍

E. fasciata can be found from western Asia to the northeastern coast of Italy, and appears most commonly in the southern Balkans. It prefers xerothermic sites. For example, on the Adriatic coast E. fasciata is found mainly on south-facing flysch and karst slopes.
