Pushing this little girl Kaya outside of her comfort zone. She’s not really comfortable with people and enjoys being within the safety of her crate. She’s going to be spending a few hours a day outside in my kennel weather permitting. She’s responding to my voice now. Hope to make some big gains over the next few weeks.

Meet Kaya, she is a foster from Georgia. She weighs in at 35 pounds and is approximately 4 years old. She is a husky mix, very shy and timid. She is extremely smart and will bd easy to train. She has shown zero signs of aggression.

More road tripping with Brenna. Another trip from Edmonton to Truro. The bonding time is making such a huge difference with her. She’s gaining more and more trust in people daily.

Brenna’s first cross Canada road trip. She did amazing and progressed a long ways with her behaviour. She has gained so much more trust in me and people in general. We will keep working together and there’s another trip in her near future.

This little demon child Brenna is here to stay. Hearts of the North has waived adoption fees on this troubled little girl. She has come so far with me in such a short time and continues to improve daily. She has been struggling a little the last few days but she’s feeding off of my energy as I’ve also being struggling. We will get through this. Thanks Hearts of the North and Connie Madsen!

Brenna has been outside pretty much all day except for one time out to the crate. She has been a very good girl. This is pretty much where she spends her time relaxing. Either sitting on my foot or leaning against my leg. So much different then when I picked her up on Monday. I couldn’t pay her for more then a few minutes without her snapping at me.
