Adoption Fees: $130 for the first cat/kitten & $65 for the second cat/kitten when adopted at the same time
Along with treatment for any existing health concerns, cats that enter KC Rescue's care receive:

This hot crew is ready for adoption!
All three are very affectionate and are burning to meet you.
Ash is the chattiest out of the group and Blaze seems to be the most chill, and enjoys just hanging out.
Sparky is a bit shy but soaks up the gentle love once she initially meets you.

Why has this handsome, charismatic, playful, love sponge not been adopted yet?
Jersey is always the first to greet people when you come in the door. He will run from outside on the catio to come see anyone that comes inside the adoption room. He is so affectionate and has such a big personality!

Feline Features: The "B" Bunch
Bea - Torbie girl (Tortoiseshell cat with the tabby pattern)
Birdie - Grayish Tabby girl
Bear - Black & brown boy
These adorable, affectionate and super sweet babies are 9 weeks old.
Bea is the smallest and she loves affection. She has the most timid personality of them all but is big on Purrrsss.
Birdie kisses and purrs like crazy too but has some s***k. She will growl at her Bear when he tries to take her toy.
Bear is the biggest and most confident. Seems right now he has two speeds. High and done. Cuddly and purrs when he finally runs out of energy.
They all get along great with their older room mates Brulee and Pixie. More friends to play with! The older foster siblings are gentle and submissive with these little ones. It is a pleasure to watch.

Feline Feature!: Brulee
6 month old neutered male
Brulee was found by Jen at Ma & Me Bakery and named after their creme brulee donut! (Delicious by the way...)
Sweet, brown and cream colored. Little bit hard on the outside and sweet n soft in the middle.
Yup that is this little boy through and through.
Now Brulee was found as a stray in the same area as his Sister Pixie was, here in Unity.
As soon as these two were put in the same room together, it is pretty clear that this was not their first meet.
Pixie also has brown spots of color even though she looks black as well.
Besides, they play and fight just like siblings.
Pixie is slowly bringing Brulee's guard down, showing him that he is safe and that people are nice.
He is still a bit scared and shy but starts to purr when he is petted and doesnt hide, just keeps a bit of distance from people.
We can't wait for him to fully come out of his shell and show everyone more of that sweet personality of his.
We would be thrilled if they got adopted together as well!

May Adoption Report!
Just two adoptions for May but we are very happy for both of these residents of KC!
Nibs and Purrcy.
After a lengthy stay at KC, they each found loving homes. Well deserved too.
We also had 6 Barn buddies placed in May.
So May was a busy month!

Raven is the only kitten in the main adoption room and is great at entertaining herself. She can now go out on the catio as well and she is loving the opportunity to run around, play and head outside while the weather is warm! DId you know?! Did you know that Benson now has his cast & cone of shame off? We can all learn something from Mr. Benson. Eventhough he had a cast and cone on, he still played and loved everyone like he didn't. If we love something and are going through a hard time, don't let that get you down. Play and enjoy anyway! KC Rescue Barn Buddy Program: Please share our post! We have multiple feral or semi feral stray cats needing to be placed in Barn Buddy homes with many more needing to be trapped and rescued! We are over capacity and are not taking any more cats into the program until we can get the felines on our list placed and safely relocated. Spring is right around the corner so if you are interested please read on! KC Rescues Barn Buddy Program: Goal: Our goal is to provide homes for feral cats who are not adoptable to life as indoor cats. Adopter Qualifications: Adopters must be able to provide food, water and shelter year round. How it works: Names will be placed on a list and contacted as cats become available. Included: All cats will be FeLv/FIV tested, spayed/neutered and Rabies vaccinated. Cost: Donations will be requested to help offset the cost incurred.
