The North Saanich Dog Obedience Training Club - NOSA Dog Training Club would like to take this opportunity to thank all the businesses who donated to our Annual Christmas Party and Silent Auction on December 14, 2024, which was held at Holy Trinity North Saanich Anglican Church Hall.

Thank you to Sidney Animal Hospital, One Stop Furniture & Mattress Inc., Truth + Alibi, Canadian Tire, Mark's, Four Paws Pet Grocery & Boutique, Thrifty Foods, Save-On-Foods and also all the club members who donated items and attended.

All proceeds from the Silent Auction will be donated to the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank. The donation will be $1,480.00.

A big thank you to all the members for a great party and with the set up and take down and all the delicious food and desserts.

NOSA is a non-profit organization and is the second oldest dog obedience club in Greater Victoria.

Our club is over 70 years old and promotes responsible dog ownership, while training you totrain your dog. Classes begin in mid January and you can register now at

Membership Renewals


It’s time to renew your NOSA membership for 2025 if you haven’t done so already.

Please complete and sign the online Membership Registration form found on the NOSA website Registration-Membership – NOSA Dog Training Club



Membership fees can be paid by an Interac E-Transfer [email protected] or by cheque.

Please review the membership category before registering.

Ordinary Membership (over the age of 16 years old) $20.00 per year

· Eligible to register for and attend any class held by NOSA

· Includes full AIOC (Association of Island Obedience Club) trialing privileges.

· May discuss and vote on all questions put to the membership at annual, special and general meetings.

· Can hold Executive office; and/or serve as members or chairpersons of Standing or AD-Hoc committees



Associate Members (over the age of 16 years old) $10.00 per year.

· NOT eligible to register for or attend any class held by NOSA

· No AIOC trialing privileges.

· May discuss but not vote on, questions put to the membership at annual, special and general meetings.

· May serve on Standing and Ad-Hoc committees but may not hold committee chairmanships nor Executive Office.



Junior Members (16 years of age or younger) $5.00 per year

· Eligible to register for and attend any class held by NOSA

· Have all rights and privileges afforded Associate Members as well as AIOC trialing privileges.

NOSA’s Winter Session classes starts Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Orientation for Puppies and Beginners will be January 8 at the Saanichton Fairgrounds, RCMP Kitchen from 6-7.

Registration opens Thursday, November 7.

I would like to thank all the fantastic volunteers and competitors who made our trial last weekend a success. It truly takes a village. One of my favourite things is to see someone who comes in on Saturday morning looking a bit lost and says that it’s their first trial and stops by on the second day to say what a great time they have had.
