A post I’m still not ready to make even though I knew it was coming.
My sweet, gentle, loving girl Ziva crossed over the rainbow bridge on Friday. I will miss her whipping me with her butt when she wanted scritches, the way she cronched ice in the summer, her willingness to try any activity I came up with. Thankful I got to spend so much time with her over the years, and forever grateful Moms had me on their call list when they got the news so that I got to say goodbye. I thought this would get easier after a few times, but now I realize it won’t since I’ll never stop loving pups like they’re my own.

The best part of this job is that I get to love on pups so much. It is also the hardest part, because loving them like my own means heartbreak when they cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge.
Sad news that sweet goofy girl Lulu has gone across. She was so loved by her Moms and furry siblings! I’m glad we got to share all the snacks and have kitchen dance parties and fight for yoga mat space while we could ❤️

Absolutely adored these sweet old babies!!! Fred, Lulu and Missy were such a pleasure to stay with! Lots of scritches and treats and old pup paces walks. Missy that cat sat on the stairs at 8 each evening to call me up for a little treat!

Happy Halloween with Cadaver Kona, Bailey Bones and Zombie Ziva. They weren’t so impressed with their mini pumpkins but they loved the sweet potato jack o lanterns I made to add to their raw food dinners.

This is Gus. His people are marathon runners, so he is used to ALOT of activity and almost never gets tired. Last week his people were hiking the West Coast trail so I got to stay with Gus and his brother Charlie for 10 days. I finally found the formula to tire out Gus! One hour of fetch up and down a steep hill, 5 bottles of water required. 30 minutes of walking, another hour of yard playtime with me and a frozen lick mat dinner.
I have never felt such job satisfaction as when I finally tired out this pup!
