Update: Melvin has found a loving home😺

This super handsome boy is Melvin. He is very friendly and affectionate with a laid back personality. Melvin is a 4 year old shorthair and is neutered and vaccinated. He used to live with another cat and was always indoors. Melvin loves his food and he will need to be portion fed to keep a healthy weight.

His owner has had a serious stroke and is not expected to be able to return home.
Melvin is currently in a foster home, where he can not stay much longer.

A good brushing can remove a lot of undercoat. It prevents that the coat gets matted and reduces the amount of hair in the house.

URGENT - PLEASE HELP! Our kittty, Wellie, ran out the door yesterday evening and we hasn't come back yet. We are in the area of Marguerite street and Princeton in Burke Mountain. A clip removes or prevents matting. Matting can be very uncomfortable for a cat and even with brushing it is not always avoidable. Usually a cat perks up completely after a clip.

A clip reduces the amount of hair the cat ingests and sheds in the house. Many owners also choose for a clip to keep the cat cool during the summer months. It makes for a happier cat and a cleaner house!

On Sunday I had to say goodbye to my sweet cat Sake.

We met in the cat room of a shelter. It was mutual love at first sight. He came running from the highest shelve to lay in my lap while sucking on his tail end. I looked into his kind blue eyes and melted....

We became best buddies and I always looked forward to come home and receive his purring welcome at the door.
He was my little sunshine, always friendly and constantly near me when at home.

I thought I would have many more years with him, because he was only 9 years old. But he became very sick and out of love, I had to let him go. Tumba (my other kitty), and I miss him very much.
I hope there will be many delicious birds to chase in cat heaven....
