Had to say goodbye to my beloved Marco last Wednesday. He was 14.5 years old. He was the sweetest, quietest, most obedient, loving soul I could have wished for. I miss him terribly. Never gets any easier. My only salvation is that he lives on in his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. 💔😢

Took Enzo, with his kids, to the park today. Too many vet trips for him lately. First thing he did was have a run in with some burrs. We met a very nice young boy and his mom who spent at least an hour sitting with us and our Shelties. The young boy sat and picked burrs out of Enzo’s hair for a long time. Enzo really liked the boy!🐶

My poor Enzo is having swollen face issues again. Trying antibiotics and anti inflammatory now. Possible we may need dental X-rays, or worse, a CT scan for mass or foreign object. I am praying it goes away and he won’t need surgery down the road. He is in good spirits and happy as usual. Does not seem to be in pain. Weird thing is the swelling went away for 3 weeks. 🤷🏻
