Ear mites are tiny insects that resemble dirt, which causes itching. They are transmitted by direct contact with an infected animal.
Signs include:
- ears will secrete a thick, waxy discharge which can clog the ear
- extreme scratching (which can lead to ear infections and a hematoma)
- constant head shaking
Itโs important to get your pet to the vet if you believe your dog has ear mites! Proper diagnosis and treatment plan is important !

Not only did we shave 1 minute off our time for a 13 minute ride, we actually added .5km extra to our route! I am so proud of the progress our off season training is making. Today was Nabeks last run for a few weeks, as he gets neutered tomorrow. But he will be back #better #stronger and #faster.

Hi ! My name is Jenn and Iโm the owner and creator of @wild_pawsco ! When Iโm not chasing my 2 year old around the house, teaching obedience and pet first aid, or baking yummy birthday cakes - Iโm at the ice rink. Iโve been skating since the age of 4 and even at 32, I find new reasons to continue falling in love with the sport. In February 2020, my team won SILVER at regionals and I made an adult international team, to represent Canada in Germany in May 2020. It got moved to 2021, which has been rescheduled again to 2022. Hoping our ice rinks open soon, because I may have forgotten what my toe picks are used for ๐
