🐶Today finishes up work for 2024!🐶

Fefe😺 Had me on a wild goose chase this morning 🤣 It was exactly what I would expect from a 2 year old Bengal 😏. Despite the chaos, I'm happy to see her responding so well to her Bowen.

Newton🐶 This boy is such a fighter! We take his care week by week and he just blows me away. Today, he was greeting me at the stairs happily and slept through his entire session💞 I am always put to ease when I see my regulars feeling comfortable.

Shady🐶 My sweet girl is always so peppy when I arrive and quick to curl in my lap. She was extra cuddly today and nuzzled right into me during her Bowen session. I always cherish each session with my seniors as time is too precious and too short.

Shadow🐶 My heart breaks to see dogs like her. Her mind is as sharp as a knife, but her body is rapidly deteriorating from illness. We've been going through a few weeks of Bowen and shes comfortable, peppy and steady for the days following. While I can't reverse her condition, I can help as long as she's here💞

🎁 A HUGE thank you to all of you!!! 🎁

As most of you know, I'm a one woman team. I don't have a team of people to handle behind the scenes work nor do I have tons of resources. In the heart of it all, none of that really matters.

What matters most is my community💞 A strong community of amazing humans, with good hearts, who want to do incredible work for dogs in need. You are all so wonderful and I truly appreciate all of the love and support.

We were able to give $400 to Happy's Place Senior Dogs 🐶 and make life for a sweet senior just a little brighter now✨

If you haven't heard the story about the Canadian wolf reintroduction into Yellowstone, it is a remarkable tale!
It's so important that we learn about history and its repercussions so we aren't doomed to repeat it.

This small group of magnificent wolves had a massive impact on Yellowstone park. Its agriculture, ecosystems, and economic development were forever changed by this one small act.

Please don't think that one small act won't make a difference, because it absolutely will!

🥶BRRRRRRRRrrrrr.... It's cold out here!!!!

I hope you're all keeping warm and cozy! As I sit here sipping on my Chai tea, I figured I'd share today's sweet highlights😍

Blaire Bear had his final maintenance session of 2024! True to his breed, this ol' boy still acts and plays like a puppy🥰 He relaxed and enjoyed his pumpkin cookies during his Bowen treatment. Besides some stiffness in his hips, he's doing so well.

Nova had her weekly Bowen session and she was much more comfortable this week💞 I'm always analyzing where she is on her pain scale and how she's moving. Today was a great session and I'm happy to see her improvements.🤗

Nyx battles with arthritis in her shoulders and hips😔 She was ready for her massage today as she definitely seemed stiff and sore. She curled up with me on her big bed and let me ease her muscles. She happily enjoyed her stuffed Kong and gave lots kisses when I finished her session.

Shadow had her 3rd Bowen session this afternoon (aka the sweet spot). In just a few short weeks, I love how happy she is to see me now and can feel our bond growing. 🥹I'm told she doesn't often kiss people's cheeks! She relaxed with me on the living room floor and was definitely sleepy by the end🐶

🤗 I LOVE FLUFFY dog days!!!

I could honestly just sit and play with Gypsy's fur all day🤣 Her Husky winter coat has come in and she's even cuter (I know, doesn't seem possible). Poor girl has been battling with some lameness so she was ready for a good massage session. We released some tension spots and eased some discomfort from her inflammation. She was sound asleep after her massage.

Olaf had his first massage post op and his recovery is going very well ❤️‍🩹 beside some tension in his back end, his muscles are in great shape 👍 Nothing is going to slow this boy down! Even with the colder weather, he is thriving🎉

What an AWESOME agility experience!! 🙌

Apollo and I did our first agility lesson and I can't describe how proud I am of this boy 💞 He had lacked confidence since we adopted him but there has never been a shortage of energy and drive!

As I spread the word of our Holiday Raffle, it is so important that people understand the special work going on at . The sales of our tickets will be donated to their cause and I can't tell you how thankful I am that everyone is supporting them🤗

Happy's Place rescues senior dogs who:

- at high risk of euthanasia
- have medical needs
- age related challenges
- chronic illness

Senior dogs are at a severe disadvantage when they end up in shelters. Happy's place has pioneered the rescue world by saving the lives of those most volunerable 🙏

Lots of snow and many places to go! ❄️ Thankfully I love driving otherwise this winter thing wouldn't work out so well for me🤣.

🐾 Mercedes & Lexus had an action packed morning! After lots of hellos to the entire crew, I started Lexus with her Bowen session. We are working on addressing a weak back end and she was much more relaxed this week🤗 Mercedes keeps me smiling with her big personality! We opted for Bowen this week as it really compliments their massage therapy schedule.

🐾 Sweet Mila has been on maintenance for some time now. Her owner returned home from work to find her in pain with lameness in her hind leg (the good leg too!). She had lots of heat and inflammation so we did a whole body balance session with some home protocols the owner can do between visits💞

🐾 Shadow is such a doll🥰 The more Shepherd's I work with, the more I fall in love with this majestic breed. She settled in nicely for her second Bowen session and I can't wait to see her progress over the next few sessions.

🐾 Tazz is such a funny guy.

Some days he brings me toys... Some days he brings me shoes.... Today, it was a squeegee🤣 This cold and snow has perked this boy right up! He just wanted to go out and play so I had to bring out the liver treats! He settled in with some bribery for a nice session before the holidays🎄

Thor had his second massage session today and really leaned into the relaxation. He had some minor inflammation in his lower hind leg. We have to work hard to get this boy resting his leg but we'll get there. 👍

There is no better way to spend a Monday morning than with these puppers and their wonderful parents💕

Buddy has been having some challenges lately with his joints. He is displaying lots of stiffness and his joint mobility is restricted. We started with a whole body balance Bowen session and will continue over the next few weeks until we see some improvements🤗

Roxy was such a good girl as always while her older brother got his treatment 💞

What a fun morning!! I took my little man to the grand opening of Pet Country Market in Beamsville💕

What a beautiful space filled with top quality pet products and the cozy feel of a family run business. I couldn't be happier to find such a wonderful shop for my pups! As a bonus, I ran into a few clients and some adorably friendly faces.🥰

Abby & Apollo thoroughly enjoyed their braided bully sticks while Mateo & I enjoyed the human snacks☕🍩😋 I'm looking forward to visiting again.🙌

While everyone starts gearing up for the holidays, it can be stressful and overwhelming for some. I enjoy the happy, sweet energy I meet in each dog which reminds me to really stay present in the moment.🥰

🐶 Joe is ALWAYS an absolute delight to work on. It warms my heart to hear that Joe has got a new found zest for his walks! Not only is he exercising more (and shedding some weight 🙌) but he has started sprinting again!!! Aging in reverse it would seem😏 His muscle tone is excellent, and I'm so proud of how well this boy is doing.

🐶 Newtons battle with cancer continues 😞 Just like us humans, he has his good days and not so good days. We took our time and I made sure he was as comfortable as could be. We do some localized Bowen moves and I am sure to steer clear of the areas that are just too tender now. He always does so great following his treatments🐾

There's no sweeter way to start the day than starting with sweet Sophie!💖

I caught her by surprise as she just returned home from what sounded like an epic morning walk with her sister Malia. Sophie has had issues in her thoracic spine region as well as her hind right leg. She took some time settling in today but was on the couch aka her bed, by the time we finished her Bowen😊

🐾 Nyx & Bliss are two peas in a pod! Bliss has a hard time not squeezing onto the bed with me and Nyx during her massage session. Secretly, I think she just wants to get close enough to steal her Kong🤣 Nyx appeared to be quite stiff in her front end and neck region. I took my time to make sure she was as comfortable as possible 💞

I ended my day with Miss Shady🥰 This sweet girl sure can boogie when she comes to say hello. She has been moving very well these days but still struggles with some weakness when trying to get up. We had a great Bowen session with some extra treats😁

That wraps up another wild work week!! 😄

I finished up with the always adorable Prisha 💞 She's the agility superstar with some insane muscles for an old gal! She often has some minor tension in her glutes and trap muscles. With her epic chew bone to keep her entertained, she will happily let me work through her therapy.
