This morning I got to visit the sweet duo Miguel & Coco 🐾 Miguel had a soothing maintenance massage to take care of some minor back tension. He kept directing me to his head and neck 💕 this sweet boy is getting over a doggy cold so he appreciated the extra attention to his upper body🐾 I made sure to give Coco some extra lovin as she is getting ready for her surgery this week.🙏
Mr. Buddy had a second Bowen session to ease tenderness in his hind end. His vision is going and he is losing his footing at times. He is turning 16 in May which is mind blowing 😱 He still loves his walks, the occasional jog and he is still very enthusiastic about his treats 💗 He was happily resting in bed by the time I said goodbye!

Today was one AWESOME roller coaster ride!! 🎢
One of the many things I love about my work is that every day is different. Each session is unique in its process and outcome. Today's sessions just got better and better 🙌
Shady had been moving so well and her energy has skyrocketed! I was blown away watching her sprint across the lawn to go for her morning walk 🤗.
Cleo has been doing excellent 👌 She has been increasing her exercise bit by bit with zero set backs. Her feel good energy is just shining on!
The ✨ today was Mr. Frank! Frank had his second massage session and we absolutely nailed it. This boy was working really hard to trust a gentle touch here and finally allowed himself to relax. There is so much beauty in the breakthrough 🥰 way to go Frank!

🐾 Meet Thor 🐾
Thor is a handsome 2 year old Cane Corso who had too much fun playing with his brother Henry (and all his doodle energy!). He had some lameness on his hind leg and some minor muscle tension. He was such a sweetheart for his first treatment and enjoyed getting some extra attention💕
🐾 Daisy & Maisy 🐾
Daisy has been doing very well! She had some minor tension in her mid spine region, but overall she's moving great on her current maintenance schedule. As you can tell, she relaxed quickly and went belly up 🤣 Maise was READY for her session today! She had lots of upper and lower back tension as well as some tightness in her hips. She fell asleep pretty fast for this massage session.

Shadow is an absolutely gorgeous 9 year old King Shepherd. She is as sweet as pie but is having trouble with hind end weakness. We had her gait assessment and a successful intro Bowen session💞. I got a face full of kisses at the end so I'm happy to say, she really enjoyed her treatment.🤣

I love when I have big dog days!!! 😍
Don't get me wrong, I adore all my small dogs but I just love (and miss) the big dog bear hugs🤗. I don't even care that I come home looking like Chewbacca with all their hair on me.
Today I spent some time with Duby & Newton 💖 Newton is such a fighter who is battling cancer and Osteoarthritis. We have got his home care plan down to a science now! He gets monthly visits with his amazing mobile vet and his protocols + biweekly Bowen therapy to compliment his medication. Newton is still moving, walking and chasing away his little brother Duby🤣
Tazz was in a playful and happy mood today! He loves to cuddle before we get started on his Bowen treatment. The cooler weather has been kind on his joints and he's enjoying spending his afternoon laying in the leaves. He does great with his biweekly sessions to ease his joint stiffness and compensatory muscles 🐾

This week was one of those weeks I dread😔 Sweet Malibu came to the end of his journey and boy did he fight!
Cancer SUCKS.
Malibu was one of my first clients here in Niagara region and I can say with certainty that he stole my heart. It has been an absolute privilege helping Malibu through torn ligaments, arthritis and his senior years💞 We have spent the last few years bonding over cuddles, massages, dog walks, pet visits and lots of kisses.
His family has become near and dear to my heart. They were so kind to let me come say goodbye for a final dog walk and cuddles.
We went to his favorite place, the beach.💙 Rest in peace Boo Boo.

Another week comes to an end!🐾
Here are some highlights of the last few days 💞
🐶 Shady had another weekly Bowen session. Depending on the dog, sometimes (often) we have to pivot from one schedule to another to accommodate their needs. We are focusing on shoulder and upper body work at the moment. She is such a doll and has to make sure to walk me outside to the car after each session🥰
😸 Lucky had his monthly maintenance Bowen session to keep everything moving in tip top shape. He is often playful when I'm around with his toys, my pens or the content of my purse🤣. This session I had the pleasure of watching him RUN after his sister which brought an instant smile to my face. I even got a few "meows" out of him which is all new and wonderful.💖
🐶 Sophie is such a playful girl, it's hard to stay calm when I see her. She loves to play bow, bring me toys and takes awhile to settle down. She was more tender than usual in her hips so it was a much slower pace of session today. That's always fine with me, these sessions are led by the animal, not me.☺️
🐶 Maya & Zeus are 2 peas in a 🫛! Maya is super affectionate and just wants to cuddle all the time while Zeus is loud and ready to wrestle each visit. Maya falls sleeps through her Bowen sessions and really embraces the relaxation. Zeus is easily stimulated by a blowing by leaf so he often wiggles around each session🤣. I focused on his hind end as he's been having a few slips here and there. Despite this quirk, he is still extremely fast on his feet!

You really take for granted the small things... Like being able to go for a walk with your dogs without feeling like you ran a marathon 🤕.
I am jumping into the week head first and got to visit with this adorable group of sweethearts.
🐾 Shady 🐾 I was nervous to see what kind of shape she would be in this morning as this was our longest stretch between sessions. To my surprise, she has been doing excellent 👌 She had a bit of a regression in her back end but overall, she's still walking strong. She snuggled with me the entire Bowen session today... Pretty sure she missed me💗
🐾Cleo🐾 We have moved Cleo on to a maintenance session and I was really looking forward to hearing about her progress. She was like a rocket on a tether when I arrived 😍 she could hardly contain her excitement. Clearly, she's feeling like a million bucks and was moving beautifully!
🐾Princess & Charlie 🐾 Princess has improved greatly since her last session. The sway in her back end has corrected and she was extra peppy in her movements today. She had a great Bowen session and enjoyed plenty of her favorite treats. Charlie has a mini massage session today as he seemed abit sore in his hips. He enjoyed some upper body work but let me know when he had enough 😏 As always, the client gets his wish!

In what feels like the craziest month of the year...
I realized how important it is to not join the rat race everyday and have some slower mornings 💞
This morning was for the pups! They love to run and hit the trails 🐾 We biked up to the beach so they could fetch their favorite water ball in the lake😄.
