The end of pheasant camp for another year. We let the new kid on the block Ghillie try her luck. She did a fine job…..couldn’t quite track the fall but with some help she found it and chased it a bit and retrieved it!!! Lots to look forward to with this little girl!!

Forrest is enjoying a few days of play time at Hillpoint Farms after a long weekend in the crate while the big dogs got to compete. He seems to really like the retrieve game…..we did upgrade to a real bumper once he got the gist of things with his “flat rat”!!

Well the competition season started with a bang!!! NMH HRCH UH CEDARBRAES ALMIGHTY NELSON GMH WCX CDX….Nelson….is now a member of the HRC 1000 pt club. He finished yesterday at The Cascades HRC hunt tests in Monroe, Wash and of course I got the traditional soaking…on a pretty cold day!!! I can’t thank my close training group of Mary, Sylvia, Leslie and Rick and Louise enough. No one gets to this point alone and they spent many hours throwing marks and giving advice to make us the team we are. Covid provided a little bump in the road but we still got there!!!
