Happy Birthday Nightlife Seelster❤️

For those who don't know, I work in the harness racing industry. Nightlife is one of the horses I take care of and she is a very special lady.

From the moment I taught her to smile I knew we were gonna be best friends and today I gave her a fun pony party for her 4th birthday.

She's goofy, sweet and one of the most opinionated horses I have ever met. Yet, she was quite content in her birthday outfit while jogging today🤣🥰

A Happy Passover and Easter from our family to yours! 💐🐰

It was my first attempt at coconut macaroons for our family dinner and they are harder than they look!

I played around with 4 flavors, including: chocolate, french vanilla, lemon and almond. 100% would make lemon macaroons again in the future 🍋

I can't believe it's been an entire year already🥳

For those who more recently became part of the Loose Girth family, here's a rundown of the last year:

I officially launched Hayley's Horse and Hound on October 11th, 2020 to be a focus place for the odd jobs I do around my community. The services I first offered were pet boarding, tack cleaning and horse grooming.

We launched our first cookies on January 31st, 2021. They were available for horses and dogs. As I was beginning to delve more into the possibilities of pet treats I created a sugar free recipe for horses with metabolic issues.

By the end of May I had to take a look at my brand and where I wanted business to go. From there I rebranded into the Loose Girth Gourmet Treatery and began creating the most delicious cookies for people and their pets.

Since then I've done sponsorships and orders for fantastic organizations like and .
