This young man has learned to open his kennel. He had an opening in the roof of his mouth when he was born and the vet asked if I wanted to put him down. I said I would take him home and see what happened. I had to tube feed him every hour for the first week and then every 2 hours for another week but it gradually closed. He started eating hard food at 31/2 weeks and then drinking water from my palm. He started seeing the others drink and was screaming for water even though I was tubing water into him and he wasn’t dehydrated but he insisted on being like his brothers and sisters. I had surgery done at 15 weeks as there was still a hairline opening. It cant completely close as the edges are smooth. As you can see he is pretty smart and wants his own way. He has a family coming for him this weekend. He will make a very spoiled pet.
