Yes

Skipping steps and rushing the process can be very detrimental to our horses. It’s not a race to see who can get one trained the fastest.

Train for the horse not for the video.

Be present through the process, realizing where your horse is at so that you can be realistic with your expectations.

This doesn’t mean every day should be simple. Progress is made through challenges. We should be challenging ourselves and our horses past our comfort zone at times. We need to work through the challenge and hold our horses accountable before we move onto something else.

Learn to love the whole process, not just the win!

Be patient.
Be present.
Be persistent.

Been exciting to watch these two teams hit the rodeo trail this summer. These girls have been clocking at the top of the rodeos in the youth and the open !! 🔥
These horses both came through our program (start to finish) and it’s pretty fun to cheer them on and watch them succeed.

We have had a few of these yellow horses (raised by Brundage Quarter Horses) that we have trained from start to finished horses sell well down south.
(Not always under our name unfortunately)
Congrats to all involved. The most recent was “Melvin” (aka Sundown) who sold at the recent Cowgirl Cadillac Sale in Sheridan, WY for $50,000.

We are excited to announce that Henry Schellenberg will once again be joining us as our feature clinician for our Ranch Riding Camp! Henry is an accomplished trainer from Saskatchewan who has done very well both in the Rodeo world and Reined Cowhorse Association!

This camp is open to both boys and girls who want to bring their own horse to camp for a week long clinic while also getting to experience other camp activities! They will focus on horsemanship, cow work, reining maneuvers, roping skills both on the ground and live cattle as well as lots of fun games and extreme trail rides! It’s a great week with lots of learning and fun. This is open to all levels of riders and horses! Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have or visit the website for more info!
