WalkingPaws
Growing up in the rural areas of Brazil, I was always surrounded by dogs, horses and cattle, to name a few, giving me experience with a wide variety of animals. After moving to Toronto in 2001, I felt lonely and rescued my first Havanese named Iasonas. It was not easy for me and Iasonas to be separated during working hours so I usually relied on dog walkers and family to care for Iasonas. This made things easier for me because I knew I could trust and rely on these people to give Iasonas the proper care he deserved.
Leaving the corporate world after over 25 years, I needed a change of scenery. Inspired by those who helped me care for Iasonas immensely and my natural, lifelong love for animals, I was compelled to create WalkingPaws.ca. I am passionate about giving pet owners reliable pet care, just as Iasonas and I needed. After the passing of Iasonas, I adopted a Golden-Doodle named Kalev.
I understand what it means to have the gift of a loving dog and the need to have someone you trust to care for your pet family during your absence. I understand how important it is to have someone that will make sure your dog doesn’t feel lonely and won’t experience separation anxiety. I believe that caring for your dog is not only about simply walking your dog, but also giving your dog the time and attention you would give him yourself. I believe it is not only about walking but about understanding, loving and caring.
WalkingPaws.ca offers private or groups’ dog walking, dog boarding, dog daycare, after hours care, pet visit, vet trips & dog taxi.
