Fresh Fruits and Veggies 🍊🥕🥦
Instead of chip in a bowl, I use Bird Pincho Sticks from Amazon. Encourages Play while eating bright, colorful nutritious foods. It’s a great way to get your birds started on eating more raw foods.

Did you Know Budgies are one of the Few species that are sexually dimorphic ? This means that males and females have a physical trait that can help decipher if they are male or Female.
Males have blue noses and Females have Pink/Tan 🥰 you can see Sun is a Girl and Violet is a Boy.
Violet also used to be Violet until he matured and his true blue colors came out.

Today marks the one-year anniversary of my cockatiels coming home 🦜💕
I picked them up from home where lady had cockatiels of her own that laid way too many eggs.... and kept all the babies in one small cage. It was quite the hoarding situation.
I asked her what was wrong with the white cockatiel in the back and she said he was depressed and was plucking but I wasn’t until I got home that I realize there was a lot more damage than just that. Of course I had to pick out the bird that looked at the worst. I could not leave them there.
Mookie [ my grey female ] came right out of the travel cage and started to fly around. Mango On the other hand jumped and fell right to the floor. That’s when I realized he could not fly. I examined him To find that he was literally missing the end bone of his wings, so flight feathers never grew in. He was missing a toe was bald on his head, his neck and around his butt.
they were both untamed and petrified of humans. After seven months we had great progress until Mingo had an accident and was constantly at the vet. It was a major setback with the bonding experience but I sure wasn’t going to give up. One year later and I’m still working with Taming them. AND IM OKAY WITH THAT.
Many people buy a cheap untamed bird online because they’re looking to save some money but after a month of not being able to handle them they end up being rehomed and forgotten about, only to be replaced by another bird (hopefull tamed, so The process doesn’t repeat itself). It’s a shame how many people don’t realize the potential of a bird. They get them as a trophy. Something pretty to look at or because they saw someone else with a cool bird and they could do the same with a cheap untamed bird.
I’m OK with my untamed birds. I’m willing to put the effort into them. I’m willing to let them out of their cage, give them enrichment and work at their own pace. I took an untamed birds because I wanted to give them a life I knew that another home would never give them. So they are here to stay 💕 and we will bond on their terms.

Welcome to my Aviary Page! Featuring The Originals 🥰
Once upon a time at the pet store I fell in love with a Green cheek Conure & decided to rescue one a year Later. Six months after that I got him a Friend and somehow after ZooKeeping at an Aviary I had taken in 4 more Birdies, three of which were Rescues Too ! I’ve fostered birds & raised some from hatchlings. I’m in no way an expert, but love to Show others about their potential and prove that they are so much more than just a Cage Animal 💕 These Babies are my life time friends [ 30 YEARS ] so I Dedicated my dreams to them ☺️ I hope you Enjoy & Thank you all for the Love and Support !

Do I have Favorites ? Hahaha Of course I do ! Piña is THE ONE 💕 I love all my babies unconditionally but some can be jerks to me or the other birds. Mango My medical mystery gets a special type of love because he’s handicap. Mookie is a Sweet baby too and the Budgies are angels.
