Limestone County Pet Treats is a family run business from Napanee! All the fruits and vegetables used are handpicked and prepared in their family home. Finally tasty treats that are good for our dogs too 😊
We’ll have Limestone County Pet Treats available for purchase and of course our guests will get to taste test them while they’re here. Beesly and Stanley have found a new favourite spot in the kennel!

Introducing Shop Millcreek Kennels! We’ll be selling things we love and use daily with our own dogs and our kennel guests.
First up is Big Country Raw. This Canadian Company offers a variety of raw meal options and add ons for your dog and cat! BCR is all Canadian, with their ingredients (the exception of Kangaroo) being sourced from Canadian Farmers and Processors. All their fish products, including their fish oils, are wild caught from Canadian Fisheries and their products are available in eco friendly recyclable paperboard. Come check out our stocked BCR Freezer for your pup’s next meal!

Since we have the worlds best pack members we wanted to showcase them, so starting today we’re joining featuring a new pup each week!
First up is this Dapper Dood, Theo🥰
Theo is everyone’s best friend, he loves everything and everyone! He’s always ready to play, and you can usually find him right in the middle of all the fun! He also wears a bow tie, I mean, if that’s not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen than I don’t know what is 😍

Rainy days don’t have to be boring, here are four different activities to do with your dog!
1. Treasure Hunt - hide treats around your house or a room and let you dog go find them.
2. Use your dogs dinner or use treats to teach them a fun new trick.
3. Stuff a kong or toppl full of your dogs favourite food, even better if you have time to freeze it.
4. Feed your dog their meals in a snuffle mat, or put their kibble on a towel then roll and twist it up for them to work to get the kibble out!

Did you know that you can over socialize your puppy?
While we would love to watch puppies play alllll day long we know that’s not beneficial for their growth and overall well-being. Non-stop play with every dog a puppy meets and not enough rest can lead to reactivity and many other behaviour issues as puppies grow up. Don’t get us wrong, we definitely have puppy play time, but we make sure our days also include confidence building, coexistence with other dogs, practising basic manners, and of course lots of rest for growing pups🐾🤍

See how your dog will spend the day at Millcreek Kennels!
One of our biggest goals here at Millcreek Kennels is to provide a safe outlet for your dog both physically and mentally! We also want to ensure your dog has lots of fun without getting too overstimulated or overhyped which could lead to some serious behaviour issues (more on that later).
We also know not everyone works the regular 9-5 so we offer extended daycare hours to accommodate everyone. Visit our website or message us for more info on our daycare services 😊

Playtime!
We love playtime here at Millcreek Kennels. If your dog likes the company of other dogs we provide small, supervised play groups where your dog can have some fun. We also offer single dog playtime for those who prefer the company of humans! Playtime is always followed up with quiet time so dogs can decompress and not get overstimulated.
