Had a quiet winter in the barn. Didnât do much breeding, but we are in full swing for spring! Hopefully lots of litters with tricolors and a variety of otter marked kits just in time for the 4H year!
Please send a private message to be put in the wait list with an idea of what youâre looking for so I can hopefully pair you with a rabbit to fit what youâre after once litters are ready to start moving to new home đ
Will hopefully be updating lots of photos by the end of the week

You canât tell me this isnât the CUTEST thing youâve seen all day!!

A great example of a genetic peanut vs a normal healthy kit. Ebony had six babies this morning but unfortunately three of them are peanuts. These kits are from the same litter, and shockingly not two different aged/breed. You can tell the difference from the extreme size difference, the bolbus head, and itty bitty ears. This only happens in dwarf breeds and these kits will be terminally culled as they have no hope of thriving, let alone even surviving past 3-4 days

I am so in Love with the temperment of this Rex litter!! Every single baby in this litter absolutely love attention! đ
You know your buns are comfortable around your presence when they are feeding ther their babies during the day while youâre out cleaning cages making a bunch of noise.
Had a lot going on over the weekend and didnât get a chance to update but Lotus had her babies, and boy did she shock the hell out of me with the variety she gave me!! 9 total and that are gorgeous! Canât wait to see if these babies or tricolors or magpies!
Thought Iâd share a little educational video so if you donât want to see rabbit genitalia please scroll away đ I thought this buck was a doe up until he was about 4 months old (now 5month) Then I noticed the start of his testicles dropping. Once he grew out and matured I could clearly see I had a buck with a split pen*s!! Basically instead of just the opening at the tip of the pen*s itâs split and open the whole way down the base. Just goes to show that sexing young animals can deffinitly be difficult sometime!! Split pen*s is something that a breeder certainly does not what to use for breeding stock as the buck can have didficult time successfully breeding and itâs something you wouldnât want to pass on genetically. And as well as you can see they can make quite the mess on theirself with urine and this can lead to urine scald which can be very painful for the rabbit. This buck was not sold for breeding or pet purposes and will be culled to fill the freezer.
Newest Rex litter out of Velvet Pawsâ Blossom (broken chocolate otter doe) and Frasviewâs Tundra (white buck)
Last little romp in the grass with mom before they got seperated from her. Little later than I normally would but kept a few more rabbits than anticipated and just had no room! Set up a temp enclosure with the xpen in the barn for the 6 boys in this litter.
Lotusâ babies are a few days old now and all 8 are doing great! I did foster the runt of the litter to a mini Rex doe that only had a singleton kit but all are fat and fed. Also got a surprise tricolor in the littler!
Not a great quality video, but took Mink and Tundraâs babies out for a quick evaluation since I realized they are 7 weeks old and can soon go to a new home! Purered Rex please reach out for any interest.
TORTS TORTS TORTS!!! 6 torts and a red in this litter!! Hopefully there will be something good in here to add to the breeding herd to produce more torts in the future!!!
Newborn rabbits are incredibly noisy!! They squeak so much when I check on them đ Mink had 6 health babies this morning. 4 black, 1 black otter, and 1 blue or lilac otter, not entirely sure yet until the fur grows in more. Just took a quick video this evening when I checked on them as itâs pretty cold tonight and donât want them to get chilled
