🚴‍♀️Bike program discontinuation🚴‍♀️

As we head into sunnier weather, we want to let everyone know we have decided to discontinue the bike program indefinitely.

It has brought us a ton of joy over the years, and we’ve seen how generous our community is. We are so proud to be a part of it. Thank you for being a constant reminder of all the good left in humanity💕

We can’t get too far away from any charitable efforts, and in place of the bike program we are cooking up plans to provide pet food for those in need, distributed by a third-party that can properly vet these requests. It will be more of a behind the scenes venture for us, but will allow us to contribute to a community that has kept us in business for the last 20 years. When we have more information we will most certainly share it, but know we are still driven to put our community first.

Once again, thank you for your support with the bike program. The smiles on families faces, especially their kids, will be forever imprinted in our minds♥️

It’s our last introduction from our work experience crew at the Spruce Grove location. Meet Hudson!

We’ve got some extra muscle around here: he unloaded two full orders for us, located where the products belonged in the store AND placed them perfectly without any direction😊

We had one hour with him and already we can see he is a hard worker, and so kind. He is going to be such a great team member over the school year.

Please welcome Hudson. We know the first day of work can be a bit nerve wracking, and his biggest concern about his first day was dealing with unpleasant customers. I assured him that we really do have the nicest customers and we look forward to some introductions!

We have had some new faces join us this week for work experience, so first, we’d like to introduce you to Leonie!😊

Leonie is a hard worker, with a great attitude. We’ve also learned she loves snacks, so we’ll make sure to keep some around to boost morale😆

She is motivated to learn how to work the register, so we’ll be spending some time teaching her. If you’re in the store when she is (1ish to 2ish on weekdays), we’d love it if you could spare a few minutes so she can learn. We do understand time is money though, so if you need us to zip you through let us know!
