Happy August long weekend! These girls are enjoying their first mocktail. It's pureed watermelon (no seeds!), a splash of water and some fresh mint. Finished off with a dollop of whipped cream. Yum!

Experimenting with the dehydrator today. The dogs were excited to try things during prep. Today were trying raw, farm fresh eggs in molds, scrambled eggs, beets, as well as left over strawberries and blueberries. I am loving my !

A childhood classic, made with dog-safe ingredients. Oreo-inspired carob sandwich cookie dog treats will be a BIG hit. They're not as complicated to make as you would think, coming together in around 15 minutes! These ones are filled with a melted yogurt chip and coconut oil filling, but there are endless variations which could include peanut butter, jam, dog ice cream (yes, an ice cream sandwich!) or even cream cheese.

Our dogs are drooling, and I suspect you might be too!

First time using a dehydrator this weekend and of course I used it to make dog treats! I got an as an early birthday present and am very excited to make even more dog treats and to save money by making our own long lasting chews!

Check out these fantastic Pinterest reviews for our Homemade Liver Training treats recipe! We started making these because they were high value but healthy.
