There are only a few Vintage Vibe foals arriving this year because of his busy show schedule last year, but this gorgeous blue-eyed black c**t was born today out of a clients mare ,Holy Water N Shine!

We have a few more spots remaining for the 2023 breeding season to Vintage Vibe.

Felix is currently the only son of A Sparkling Vintage standing in Alberta. If you've been watching, you know how talented these horses are. A Sparkling Vintage is a 3 million dollar sire and has produced two Triple Crown Champions. He is no longer standing to the public.

Vintage Vibe was shown minimally, but as a Futurity horse, he was Champion or Reserve Champion in all of his classes. He was shown aged as an aged horse and consistently placed in the top 3 in most of his classes.

This beautiful 2021 AQHA c**t "Vibes Kinda Famous" has been turned out with the broodmares since he was weaned. We don't own him but have had the privilege of boarding him and working with him. We started some prep work this week, and he has everything we like to see in a performance prospect. He's intelligent, kind, aims to please, and is always trying to figure out the right answer. On top of that, he is a BEAUTIFUL mover. He is available for anyone looking for a quality two year old show prospect.

Vintage Vibe hanging out with Fernando Salgado at a clinic last weekend.

It sure is nice to see how happy, healthy, and relaxed our boy is. Thanks to Heule Reining Horses for taking such good care of Felix. It's hard having him so far away from home but having a trainer that takes such good care of him sure helps.

Felix is back in full time training with Hubert Huele, with the hope that we can get him to a few shows this year (and next) between breeding season. He's looking real good and Hubert's done a phenomenal job getting him fit and riding well again.

We decided to have him x-rayed just to make sure his joints looked good, and the veterinarian said "he's probably the cleanest horse he's seen."

Just one more thing that makes Felix standout as a breeding stallion. Not often you see an aged horse x-ray clean.

He has a few more shipped semen contracts available for the 2022 breeding season.

We LOVE getting updates on the foals sired by Felix.

This stunning filly is out of a Shiners Lena Dust daughter and resides in Quebec. Her owner has shown successfully and plans to show this smart little filly in the future. And it looks like she got her sires hair gene 😍

We've had a few foals sired by Felix now and each one of them has been smart and wanting to work with you. They are personable and enjoy being with people. On top of those great minds they are built right, with a lot of bone and mass. Short backs, great hocks, cute little heads and excellent feet. We are very particular about our horses and they need to have the mind, build AND pedigree. Felix offers all that and more. We are looking forward and counting down the days until the 2022 foals arrive.

When you own a stallion it's important to make sure you exercise their body AND their mind. Felix came home a little less than two weeks ago and we do a lot of different things every few days to keep his mind engaged. I have ridden him 2x before this and today I jumped on ba****ck and with just a pair of reins around his neck. As always he handled it like an old pro even though I was slipping and sliding all over the place (note to self; must workout more)

Felix has such a kind nature and he wants to do things and more importantly, he really wants to try for his rider. Also, can I just say that it's not often you come across a modern bred Reiner with as much bone and substance as Felix. It's one of the main things that I've always loved about him. A lot of bone mass, big feet and sound and happy at 8 years old. Also if you love pretty and a lot of hair, he's got that as well ❤

He even got to meet a few of his foals today, who were begging to say hello as we walked by their pen.

We are excited to announce that the new owners of Vintage Vibe are Tiffanny and George Fehr of Fehr Ground Ranch.

He will continue to stand to the public and shipped semen will be offered next year. As well, he will be nominated to Reining Alberta's sire incentive program and possibly NRBC. We are excited about this great horse's future as a sire and we might even see him back in the show pen under the guidance of a trainer in the future!
