๐So many of you cat owners ask what our caregiving looks like for your cats when they are more low maintenance, reserved and independent than our doggy custoFURs.
Aside from the basic litter changes and food and water top ups, how are we able to keep your cats enriched and satisfied while you are away from home?
Well, we have a few ideas up our sleeves, even for the cats who may not care about or want our presence!
๐ฑNeeding cat care? We think we're the PUUURRRfect caregivers for you!

No age is too young to teach your puppy general obedience.
Go slow. Be patient. Make things harder each week they get older.
And if your puppy still needs help, it's probably because you the owner needs help, and what's what I'm here for: to help๐
Good job, small lil Oakley. You'll be jumping through hoops in no time.๐คฉ๐ฅฐ
With our home being closed to customers this week, our spoiled King Tuck is bored without any FURiends!
Thanks to my career choices as a pet sitter, he is always mentally stimulated with the presence of other dogs, so on the rare occasions he is alone, like right now, if I don't keep him stimulated through enrichment activities, his pent up energy could lead to frustrations and acting out with poor behavior.
And as a beagle, he's got a strong sniffer on him so that's why one of our favorite enrichment activities is Treat Hide & Seek. Its easy for you and super satisfying for the dog.
Just 20 minutes of sniffing or chewing is the same equivalent as 60 minutes of physical exercise as enrichment for the dog, so this game is sure to leave any dog content for the long term.
Give it a go!

These 3 playmates are expressing fantastic social skills and all 3 have learned what they know through the program!
Another way to get your dog socialized and exposed to other dogs is with THIS WEEKEND'S Walk & Talk with your dogs- Bonnyville & Cold Lake . This is a completely FREE community walk in Bonnyville & Cold Lake where your dogs can casually walk with others and I will even go over some tips for walking your dog.
**please note a time change to the walks to 11:30am

This video is the perfect example on the benefits of our Social Training Program.
While the yelps *may* sound scary and serious, old man Duke is teaching puppy Jack the polite way to play & interact with him.
It's a teachable moment. This is Jack's first opportunity socializing with a well conditioned grown dog and those scary sounds is all part of the learning process.
And a wee bit of encouragement from me helps Jack understand that everything is happening as it should be.๐
So far, Jack is earning an โญ๐++ for listening to the cues that are being given to him.
Have a great weekend eFURRYone! If you need me, I'll be over ๐there teaching the Lakeland's future good boys and girls ๐ฅฐ
Owning a reactive dog is hard. Very hard.
It's isolating.
It's embarrassing.
It leaves you with feelings of guilt & shame.
And sometimes regret in owning that dog.
It's very hard being the owner of a reactive dog. Most of us at BUSH-els of Fun- Pet Care Services know this first hand.
It's a HARD journey, but luckily HARD work pays off.
Let our training department help you get from Point A to Point B with your dogs reactivity.
Not only do you as the pet owner deserve a better way of life, but most importantly, so does your dog.
Message us to start your journey.
Let me tell you about Theo's story of bravery & strength.
He suffers from Degenerative Joint Disease.
Completely paralyzed in his back legs. Although he wasn't always like this....
When Theo first came to us 2 years ago, he was a completely normal, happy dog, with full control of his body.
Then just weeks before his stay with us, it was cancelled as the news was broken about his condition.
And I felt that.
I felt that because I've always been an Animal Empath. Yes that's right, animal empath, not human empath. Since just a wee young age, I've always been the voice for these creatures when they didn't have a voice of their own.
So when they feel pain, I feel it. When they feel joy, I feel it.
When my own dog is lying on the floor in his own urine suffering from a seizure, I feel it.
When a cat I'm caring for is slowing withering away as its body full of cancer eats itself, I feel it.
And in Theo's case, going from a normal, happy puppy to a struggling, crippled & lost dog, well I feel that too.
So this time, when Theo's PAWrents needed care for him, I knew I couldn't sit and do nothing. I knew that once again I needed to be the voice for a creature who didn't have his own voice. I knew I needed to help this poor, small, sad, pathetic little dog.
But he wasn't poor, small, sad, pathetic at all. Theo proved himself every day with how strong, brave, courageous and optimistic he is. Proved himself simply by keeping up with all the other crazy dogs in this household.
Turns out he didn't need me at all, but I think I needed him to remind me about overcoming life's obstacles when things get a little ruff.
Theo is proud, very proud of how good he does every day and how good of a boi he is just for waking up.
Theo is proud, as he should be. How do I know that?.... Well, I feel that too.
