Reminder that the event originally scheduled for tomorrow at Critters and Things has been cancelled.
A few updates:
1. we currently have Nova, Aspen and Sherry still available to adopt. If you would like to set up a meet and greet or are interested please message the page or the person you interviewed with.

2. Yayyy, the strike is over. We are slowly getting all of our mail caught up. Ontario has received all of our calendars so NL should not be far behind.
Once in we will hold calendar pick up days with a couple of locations.
Over the next few days and after Christmas we will be mailing out the calendars. We will contact anyone who requested shipping to give total for their mail outs.
Thank you for everyone’s patience.

3. We will be holding the draw for the gift cards on the 22nd. Get your last minute tickets

4. We will be having new dogs arriving mid January and will post at the beginning of the month.

NEW UPDATE:
Unfortunately due to the strike still ongoing the calendars will not be at the event tomorrow.
We are still hoping to have them at next weeks (21st) event.
Even alternative shipping options that the company is now using to send us the new (redone) order is taking longer.
We will have additional locations and days for pickups once they arrive.
It is very important to us to ensure that everyone gets their calendars as soon as possible.
Once again, we apologize to everyone for the delay.

Walk in photos with Santa and the Grinch for a minimum donation of $5. Bring your cell phone to take the photos.

$5 Friday is here! Please consider donating $5 to help us with vet bills. We have our 5 week old puppies that will need their first vaccine and deworming.

We have some 5 week old puppies that arrived from HVGB SPCA last week. These adorable little ones came in with their mother a few days after being born, then when old enough flew to us in St. John’s.

They are all booked at the vet to receive their first vaccinations December 27 when they are 8 weeks old. All have been flea/lice treated and dewormed once.

If you would like to get pre approved to adopt one of these puppies, please send a message to our page.

ANOTHER UPDATE:
I am sure I am not the only one seriously frustrated by the postal strike.
However, we need to deal with it and make a plan.
I can get quotes from UPS and FedEx but we all know it will be expensive for anyone needing them shipped.
Or we wait the strike out and I pop them in the mail as soon as it is done.
For anyone requiring shipping please let me know if you want them shipped now.
As I stated before the company has been amazing and because our first order is stuck in limbo somewhere… they completed the order again, at their own cost (shout out to Mixbook) and have shipped again .
I have received Ontario’s, but NL has not arrived yet.
Once it is in NL then they will be available at either one or both events- Dec 14 and Dec 21 at Critters and Things.
We apologize for all of the confusion.
I am hoping the strike is over very soon.
