🍂Flea and Tick Season is Here… 🍂
Knowing the Difference: Fleas spread more quickly than ticks. These small, jumpy pests can rapidly transfer to other dogs. Ticks are slower to migrate but carry more diseases, such as Lyme disease!
Tips for Prevention:
1. Regularly check your pets for fleas and ticks, especially after they’ve been outside, particularly in long grass or on hikes.
2. Fleas and ticks often target the head, neck, ears, and feet.
3. Regularly remove tall weeds and mow your lawn.
4. Keep your pets and their environment clean. Wash your pets and their bedding frequently.
