New cavies! Beautiful rainbow boar from Joel Marshall. We needed an outcross badly.
Next is Odyssey Cocoa Bean - chocolate sow for the chocolate tan program. Lastly is Odyssey Striker. Father is one of Lizzie’s, mother is one of my Silkies. He is going to be fun to coat!

There are also b l a c k Americans (fb does not like me using the word without spaces, they don’t understand cavy terminology). I need to know today for delivery to Ohio as off to play with puppies this week.

Very nice weekend in Fond du Lac for the Wisconsin State show. I judged yesterday and we showed today. BIS for our American Black senior boar and RIS for our Cal Pattern White Crested. HM to Terry Kelman’s Roan Aby Satin.

Fun day in Plymouth, WI with Rachel Boucher. We had BIS with a lilac Tan Pattern American and HM with a Cal White Crested. Rachel was RIS with her cream American Satin under Joe Colucci. Under Crystal Krienke-Bonkowski our White Crested was BIS and our black American intermediate sow was RIS with Terry Kelman’s Teddy taking HM.

Good turnout at the show in Fenwick despite the crazy snowy weather. Erica Leslie was snowed in so I ended up judging the one show. BIS in the other show for McCabe's Black Gold March Madness, RIS for Black Gold McCabe's Golden Jubilee (born here from an Odyssey Peruvian and coated by Elizabeth Eisel-Gutcher) and HM for Leah Olney's Skinny Pig. Judge was Denise Robertson with Kim Lawless doing an apprentice under her.
I have not had a chance to do a post-convention post but March Madness fared well in a very strong senior sow class in Reno. No big winners in Americans (top third to half of the classes for all), Silkie Satins did not badly. Best was BOV White Crested with our sow Firefly.

Took the second string to Michigan this weekend saving the first string for convention. Thank you judge Joe Colucci for awarding our young sow McCabe's Alma BIS, congrats to the lovely red Cal Silkie who was BIS in my show and RIS in Joe's show.

Congratulations to Jean Doyon on his triple BIS today with a stunning Teddy in Spencerville. RIS under MaryAnne Chmura was Dominique De Serre’s American. Honourable Mention went to our White Crested Dude. This was the first assignment for new ARBA cavy judge MaryAnne 🙂

Here are both pics - BOB and ROB. The two sows are actually closely related. The ROB is Lizzie’s solid golden, the BOB is our black - both linebred on a sow from Jim Hupp 💕

I failed on this pic - this is my daughter's Reserve of Breed Solid Golden who is half McCabe's Black Gold blacks. I will post correct pic after I get more coffee.

We had a great time in Stillwater, MN over Labour Day weekend. The amazing Dude took 4 BOBs, 1 RIS and 1 BIS. New to the show circuit our black sow Unmentionable was BOB in 1 show. Her brother Uncomparable was BOB in 1 show and BOSB in 2 shows.
Our lovely marten boar Tyler was BOSB in 1 show.
The best part of the weekend was spending time with Rachel 🙂

I seem to have annoyed the Facebook police with this post. To clarify, it was young cavies that were reviewed not young humans. I don't classify people but do classify cavies by colour variety 🙄 I honestly don't know how to say b l a c k without saying b l a c k 🤷‍♀️
