This adorable little girl, Capri was terrified of so much when I first met her. Her owners were worried they wouldn't be able to walk her on a leash outside until the fall!! But with a lot of love, patience and encouragement, Capri came out of her shell and has become the confident and brave girl we knew her to be! 😍😃

Cleo's family was very worried that they woudn't be able to ever have a nice, calm walk with their energetic Labrador puppy.
Luckily through consistent weekly training sessions, calm leadership and a lot of love, Cleo has finally taught her parents how to walk nicely with a loose leash! Way to go!

An absolute pleasure working with this beauty on her loose-leash walking and greeting etiquette. Copper really is the social butterfly of her neighbourhood and I know she's going to be getting a lot of practice with all of her friends in the area!

Friendly reminder to keep an eye on your pets comfort level this summer. Whether your pet is waiting in the car while you run to the store.....walking on a hot sidewalk or just hanging out in your yard...please watch over them and make sure they have access to plenty of shade and cool water.

Please cut your dogs nails! Leaving the nails long on your dog can cause chipping, tearing, splitting and breaking, which can be very painful and may require veterinary treatment. As well as being prone to damage, when a dog stands or walks it puts pressure on the wrong parts of the foot, causing pain and discomfort.

Friendly reminder during these snowy months: watch out for the road salt covering our sidewalks and streets! Prolonged contact to the salt used to melt ice on driveways, roads and sidewalks can can lead to chemical burns on dog paws or possibly severe indigestion if ingested after a walk. If your dog is limping by the end of a walk, de-icing products may be hurting his feet. Try to keep your dog off the salty sidewalk (think grass or snow) whenever possible and clean their paws once home.

Lots of puppies get adopted this time of year as "xmas gifts". Just remember what you're getting into! Until maturity is reached at (around) 2-3 years of age you'll need patience, consistency and a whole lot of love to keep your baby Dino in check! 🤣
A lot of challenges in training and behavior can occur so don't be afraid to ask for help and get advice from experienced and responsible trainers!
