It was a great swimming time for the boys .. and they were terrific at listening. We swam the boys down at IXL - Ross Creek (been going there 40 years) .. tonight we encountered a Moose and were amazed that she stayed on the opposite side of the creek (watching) while we swam the boys . The boys did not see her - they were to focused on retrieving :) .. by the time we left she was lying down but still watching us.

AUSTIN: he's a little slower, not as speedy as his busy brother, but a loveable retriever just the same. He did tangle with a feral cat and took a bite to his leg/foot. He had an infection and as a result he has a bit of a limp if over walked/over exercised. Once rested he is as good as new :) (note: yes, he was seen and treated - on antibiotics and a steroid)

NEWT: He's busy, he's into everything.. he's a crazy retriever that (if left unattended) he will move your upstairs downstairs and move one room into another - so use his crate or outdoors when alone) :) .. he loves to bring everything to you :)

There is absolutely no need to repeatedly titer your dog! I won't put myself through this and I understand the treatments.. so why would I put my beloved pets (that don't understand) through the pain and suffering .. nope-nope-nope.

“Will the treatment you’re proposing lengthen my dog’s life?”

“Is this treatment likely to result in complete remission?”

“Will the treatment you’re proposing cause side effects? If so, what will they be and how long will they last?”

“How dangerous is this regime? What is the likelihood it will actually shorten my dog’s life or even kill my dog?”

“What will my dog’s quality of life be during treatment? What about after the treatment?”

“If my dog goes into remission and survives, what is the likelihood of permanent damage, and if so … what will that look like?”

“What will happen if we do nothing?”
