Today I did 3 XXL dogs full grooms today. My back is not happy with me this evening but everyone looks great. Got a picture of Beau and forgot Indy and Tucker pics they wanted to go home as much as I did.

Here’s handsome Beau, he is like a really large teddy bear, gentle and kind.

Taking on a new puppy is a huge commitment, and a lot of time and work. Thank You to all our new Western Paws Aussie Families for supporting our breeding program.

It’s not easy, having litters it’s hours of work everyday, even when you’re tired there’s still more to do. But it’s also the most rewarding. Seeing the families pick up their puppies and the joy and excitement is so worth the lack of sleep, loads upon loads of puppy blankets, filling dishes of food that always you just fill and are empty, then you turn around and there’s multiple potty to clean up and wash , floors that are continuously being washed from wet puppy feet who have for the 10th time been spilled or stepped in. The running of puppies thru the house almost knocking you off your feet as your arms are full of laundry or new dishes of water, puppy barking , times that by 9 puppies finding their vocals. making up clean beds in puppy nursery, kissing 9 adorable faces goodnight, waking up to shredded potty pads, an army of potty to clean, all to do it all again that whole new day what you just did yesterday.

It’s not for the faint of heart, and as I took down pens after the last puppy said goodbye, I wiped tears of joy and sadness all at once. The food dishes and water dishes are washed and put away, the fresh blankets are clean and folded away, the floors are washed and I haven’t had any messes to clean in several hours.
I’m ready for a break and maybe get to sit down and watch a show or two again in an evening.
Until the next litter is born and my heart falls in love again and again.
It’s a labor of love that you don’t make in money, it’s the passion for the breed, and doing it for the love of doing it. Making people happy and seeing your puppies living happy, it’s all worth it.

Hold those puppies close and give them lots of kisses for me, because tonight there’s a mama here who is feeling an empty nest , but also enjoying the memories I have with each pup, and feeling so happy for all of you to feel that love from them.

Lainey bug got a spaw day too. Her coat was in need of a restore as she’s blowing coat after having her babies. She’s so precious, looks just like she did as a pup. She’s got such a tender heart, love her.

We are now into Valentines Day theme, Molly my first groom of 2025, and she is all about lots of kisses and a huge heart of love. Yes, she has a Christmas bandana in, but haven’t got my valentines accessories in yet.

We got to have a very special guest return for few days while his family was away. Cane( now Navy), spent few days playing with his litter mates that are still here. We had lots of fun.

Happy New Year!!!
I look forward to seeing all my grooming puppies in the year ahead and enhancing the natural beauty in them all.

We have two very adorable puppies, who I don’t understand are still here just waiting to be chosen as their siblings have been.
They are so cute and the personalities of both these babies just has me in disbelief they are still looking for ❤️🏠
But there’s always those last ones that are overlooked and no fault to them.
I will keep loving on them and enjoying them until the right people come along for them, and see how special they are.
